Classes are still in session, and there's one I need to attend in person. The teacher isn't cool and doesn't like it if you only do video streaming. How will Niallan deal with me leaving? Maybe he doesn't know I have class in the morning. I need to tell him.

I find him in an office downstairs. The room is big, similar to Eric's. Niallan glances up, and his frown turns into a smile.

“You look nice.”

Heat blossoms on my face. “Thank you.”

Niallan sits back, crossing his arms over his chest. His gaze travels slowly down my body, appraising every inch. I try to keep from squirming, but he knows my number.

“Can I help you?” Niallan asks.

“I-I have a class in the morning.”

Niallan stands and moves around his desk. He sits in the chair next to me and takes my hand. “Do you think it’s wise to go somewhere so public?”

I shrug. “I need to keep going to class. I can’t afford to fail.”

When Niallan drops my hand, a chill sweeps through me. I want his touch again. We aren't in that type of relationship. Actually, I don't know what kind of relationship we have. We aren't friends, I've never met him before. Now we have to come to some sort of arrangement. It's weird. Maybe it shouldn't be. I've known my entire life would always just be some sort of arrangement.

Niallan stands then tugs me up. Shock pulses through me, but I'm not given a chance to react as Niallan's lips crash down on mine. His hands slide down my sides, then lift, and suddenly I'm sitting on his desk, my knees spread so Niallan can stand between my legs. Luckily I'm wearing a flowing skirt and not something tight.

The kiss is magical, the type of kiss that makes you forget everything. Should we be like this? Should I push him away?

His fingers trail down to my leg. The kiss pauses for a moment as he lifts his head. I blink open my eyes as he raises my dress’s hem. His eyes are dark, intense. His fingers slide up the inside of my thigh. My breath hitches. I should tell him to stop. I don’t.

I'm shaking. No one has ever touched me like this. My stomach tightens, and my head spins as his fingers brush over the thin material of my underwear. I gasp and he chuckles before leaning in for more kissing.

I'm floating on a cloud of wonder and need as he pushes the material covering my pussy to the side. He's touching me, and I can't quite breathe correctly. I'm gasping, trying to not fall to pieces when his fingers brush over my most sensitive spot. I think I melt in his arms. He strokes the area again, and I'm coming apart. My eyes slam close as my whole body tightens then pulses.

Gasping, I try to open my eyes but find I'm lost on a wave of pleasure. Neo has taken me to new heights.

He covers me up, removing his hand between my legs before he steps back, his gaze serious. "Remember when you leave the house in the morning and go to school that you are mine. That is just a small sample of what I promise you."

His words twist through my thoughts, leaving me unsure what I should even be hoping for. Two days ago I wasn't his anything. Now I'm living in his house, and my father expects me to marry him—actually his father. My life is screwed up, but if Niallan promises this is only the beginning, maybe this isn't so bad.

I nod, and he steps closer again, his hands on my face, tilting my chin up so I have to look at him. His lips are in a thin line, and for a second, I think I've pissed him off.

“Niallan—”

“Call me Neo.”

I nod and open my mouth to speak. His lips are on mine, his tongue down my throat. I’m moaning, wondering if he’ll touch me. He steps back before his hands can find my center.

"I know this is not where you thought you'd be. Neither of us is prepared. But I think we'll be good together. I'm not like my father, and I'm nothing like your father."

“Thank God,” I say.

His lips twitch up as he chuckles. “My work is intense.”

“You can’t keep taking money from the mob.”

Neo shakes his head. “No, I’ll figure out what my father did and stop taking their money.”

“Are we really doing this?”

Neo cocks his eyebrows and flashes a smile. “I don’t think it will be bad. We can come to some sort of understanding, right?”

“Like what?”
