“I need to think about this,” I tell him as I get off of his lap. “There’s preparations to be made.” Jesus Christ, this is exciting, isn’t it? I can’t wait.

“Where do you think you’re going?” O asks me as he sees me rush to the door as he sits on the porch of his house.

Crap. I’d hoped nobody would see me. Gil is already gone to Dominium for his shift and I’m driving over in my roleplaying outfit. I had to delve deep in my closet to find what I was looking for, but I managed. I’m dressed in a black pantsuit and am all dolled up. My dirty blond hair is up in a tight knot, and I look like someone who belongs in the Fortune 500. I’m even wearing pumps, just to get completely out of character.

“I’m going to Dominium, to see Gil work,” I say while grabbing my keys and sticking them in the clutch I found in my mothers closet.

“Dressed like that?” he asks with one raised eyebrow.

“Eh, yep.” I don’t want to make eye contact, because as thrilling as this whole thing is, it’s also a little out of my comfort zone. The corner of O’s mouth pulls up.

“You’ve got a sex date,” he says.

“Absolutely not.” A blush covers my cheeks, making my whole face light up.

“Yeah, you have,” he grins. “Give me the keys, I’ll drive you and you can drive back with Gil.” Without waiting for my answer, he grabs the car keys to Dean’s car because he still hasn’t bought a new one himself after driving it off into a ravine.

“You just want to drive me so you can tease me the whole way over, right?”

“You know me so well.”

I snort, but give into his demands.

O drilled me the whole way driving over to Dominium, but I didn’t tell him what we were up to. I’m sure he’ll get some of the details later, but right now I’m pleading the fifth. When I get out of the car, he has the audacity to tell me to be safe and then drives off again.

Okay, so, this is where I get into my role. This is where I leave Mor, romantic novelist extraordinair, and where I become Ginny, the business executive who’s always in control, looking to let some of that control go in a BDSM bar. I mean, I get that I can go everywhere with this role playing, but I thought it’d be best to keep it at least a little relatable.

I make my way inside and get greeted by Bobby, who’s sitting on his chair by the entrance scrolling his phone again. He doesn’t even bats an eyelash that I’m dressed differently than normally.

I walk straight to the bar, where there’s an empty barstool calling my name. My eye falls on Gil, who’s manning the bar and currently having a conversation with an older lady dressed in a very tight short dress.

It makes her boobs look amazing and I’m jealous. Now I want my boobs to look like that. Gil keeps his eyes on her face though, and doesn’t even seem to acknowledge the awesomeness that is right beneath his eyes.

The Dom himself is dressed in leather pants. Just in leather pants. His cut abs are on full display for everyone to see and somehow I’m really proud of myself for tapping that. Atta girl. Wait, I’m not Mor right now. I’m Ginny. Have to remember that.

When he turns around to make awesome-boobs lady a drink, I stare at his butt which looks like it should be in the list of seven wonders of the world and find myself licking my lips.

He gives the lady her drink and then finally lets his eyes fall on me. I try my hardest to give him an icy stare, because Ginny is like a boss-bitch I’ve figured. She doesn’t smile that often.

“Hey,” he says as he makes his way over to me, bringing along one of those rags that seem to be glued to any bartender’s hand.

“Good evening,” I say with a flat voice.

“What can I get you?”

“Margarita,” I deadpan as I get my phone from my clutch and start scrolling on it. Everything about this feels so completely opposite from who I normally am, that I want to start giggling. I’d never be so curt to someone helping me, and I’d never just start scrolling my phone in a social outing.

Gil turns around and gathers everything he needs to make me my cocktail. He knows what he’s doing, grabbing different bottles by memory without looking at the labels. We usually let Jonah make the drinks, but now I’m wondering why. Gil seems to be just as adequate with it as Jonah. Might have something to do with the fact that Jonah is a pleaser.

“So, first time at Dominium?” he asks. I guess this is where the roleplaying really starts. He pours my drink in a fancy looking long stem glass with sugar around the rim. He puts down a napkin and gives me my drink.

“Yes, thank you,” I say as I grab money from my clutch and give it to him. “Keep the change,” I say, even though I know I’m greatly overpaying him.

“Thank you, Miss…?” he asks with a slanted head.

“You can call me Ginny,” I say, taking a sip of the overly sweet drink. I don’t do cocktails that often. Usually the hangover isn’t worth it.

“Thank you, Ginny, and welcome to Dominium, I’m Toby.” Gah, I know that’s a lie, but tonight he’ll be my Toby. I think. I need to seduce him first, because Ginny and Toby are nothing more than a couple of strangers at this point.
