He looked over his shoulder, let off a final shot, and then opened the car door.

I hopped into the back seat, holding Crystal tight.

He went around to the front and drove away, not bothering to stop for the barrier that was blocking the exit.

When we were out of the garage, I dared to look around.

“This isn’t Zurich,” I said.

“No, it’s not,” came his response.

“Who are you? And where are you taking us?” I asked.

Other than a slight smile, he didn’t respond.
