“Did you all enjoy the fucking show?” I yelled out, throwing my hands up in the air.
All eyes turned away from me. No one was stupid enough to respond to me. They just kept walking. Not even the teachers yelled at me for using profanity.
As the crowds in the hallway began to clear, I spotted a pair of eyes watching me from a distance.
Scarlette.
I stared back at her, daring her to come over to me and say something. I desperately wanted her to make the first move and come over to me.
Scarlette just stared blankly at me, like she didn’t know what to do. For some strange reason, that sent a pain shooting through my body.
Shaking my head, I punched the wall as I tore my eyes away from her and then walked down the hallway and away from her sad, sad eyes.
