Page 20 of Two Cowboys For Her

Ilove my ranch. Everything about it excites me. It’s a lot of hard work but at the end of the day, it is all worth it.

Today I have been up since in the morning and on my horse for most of the day. Now, I am riding around the property looking for places where the fence needs mending.

I can’t help thinking of Samantha. She was amazing the other night. I did not expect to connect with her so quickly. It is a crazy thing trying to win her over like she’s some kind of prize heifer.

It may be wrong to think of her that way- but sheisa prize. Those long legs that go on forever, that blonde hair that looks like spun gold. And her skill in bed? Well, she is absolutely amazing.

I like the way I can tell Samantha anything that is on my mind. She has proved to be such a great listener. My experience with her was more than I’d hoped for. She is an extremely exciting woman.

I’m riding through the patch of land that connects with Samantha’s father’s ranch. I notice that there is a broken fence that needs to be mended so I ride over to inspect the problem further. I get off my horse to inspect it and that’s when I see Samantha.

It’s a nice surprise to see her this evening. I want to go through the hole and talk to her, but she seems upset about something. I can’t hear what she is saying but by the rough way she is talking to her horse, I imagine that things are not good.

“Hey darlin!”

I try to get Samantha’s attention, but she is pretty focused on saddling up her horse. She lifts the saddle from the ground and all the way up to her horse. The woman has strength. She goes about doing all the buckles and I enjoy the show. There is nothing that excites me more than a true horsewoman.

When Samantha gets the saddle on, she jumps on her horse and starts to ride. I shout her name, but she doesn’t hear me. She looks so hot in her riding gear with her blonde hair flying in the wind.

“Alright come on, we gotta catch up,” I whisper to my horse as we begin following her.

I carefully get my horse to go through the hole in the fence. I want to catch up with Samantha so that I can know what is bothering her.

I try to catch up with her, but she’s riding her horse like demons are chasing her. Thankfully, I’m riding my best horse, so I know I can catch up with her.

But as I speed up and get closer to her, I see that I’m not the only one chasing her. There’s that fucking idiot Liam riding a black stallion.

“What thefuck?”

This is ridiculous. Why is he chasing her? He has no business being out this way. What interest does he have in Samantha? Try as I might, I cannot go fast enough to catch up with her. I do not want to push my horse too hard but now with that idiot chasing after her, I have to get to her first.

Samantha is galloping way too fast. No matter how much I push my horse, I can’t catch up. Liam has the advantage over me because his horse is used to speed.

“Come on girl. Let’s catch Samantha,” I say in her ear.

I feel my horse speed up a bit but again not fast enough to catch up to Samantha. I look over to where Liam is riding, and I see that he is slowly gaining on her. Just a few more minutes and he will be at her side. I can’t let that happen.

I study the land around me. There has to be a short cut. If I can only figure out where Samantha is going. I feel the power of my horse Tilda between my thighs. She is going as fast as she can.

Liam is almost to Samantha. At that moment she turns around and sees Liam and then she turns to see me.

Samantha gets this wild look on her face, and I can tell that she’s squeezing her legs around her horse so that he can go faster. It is clear that she doesn’t want anything to do with either of us.

Finally, I get a break. I notice that in the distance, there is an abandoned barn. This might be the place Samantha is heading. I know that if I go through the pond we are heading towards, I can beat Liam.

My horse Tilda loves the water. And I know for a fact that the pond is only a foot or two deep. I rode out here last year when Alfred Laurier was showing me his property. He mentioned that the pond was very shallow and didn’t serve any purpose.

“We got this Tilda.”

I signal for her to go through the pond, and she obeys. The water is no problem for Tilda. We are going slower, but we’re getting closer to the barn. Liam is still going the long way around the pond.

He sees that I am going through the water, and I can tell he wants to do the same thing, but I know that he can’t risk his Stallion slipping in the pond and breaking his leg. Tilda may not have been bred for speed, but she was born to go through this pond.

Tilda and I go through the pond and now I am just a few lengths behind Samantha. She turns to look and smiles upon seeing me. We have caught up to Samantha, and I am pleased that I have beat that idiot Liam.

I guess the best man really does always win.
