I can smell a bit of sweet wine on her breath already. I yearn to sip it from her lips.

“I don’t know if congratulations are in order quite yet. I don’t think I did well,” I confide in her.

Emma gives me a look gauging my reaction, and I can tell she doesn’t know what to think.

“Can I still wear the party hat?” she asks.

“Of course,” I say, pushing her out of the doorway and toward the bar.

“I got you a graduation cap,” Emma says, handing it to me.

“You don’t seem to understand. I probably failed,” I tell her.

Emma becomes completely sober for a moment.

“I don’t think you failed. You took the test despite your anxiety. I can tell you finished the test because you used it the entire time. I also know you still have a lot of work to do, but you may be surprised at your mental strength,” she reassures me.

She looks so beautiful to me. I know I will spend a lifetime and never find such a good friend.

My body leans in toward her, and I softly taste her lips.

“I want to give you a present,” Emma tells me, taking her shorts off to reveal tiny panties barely covering her honeypot.

She goes to take the party hat off, but I stop her.

“Leave it on.”
