I am terrified of this woman. Her eyes bore into me like the barrel of a shotgun.
“Do you seriously need to even ask? Who the fuck do you think you are?”
“You fucking drugged me and kidnapped me! What did I do to deserve this?!”
Ginger leans her head back and laughs manically. It booms throughout the empty building. I think I hear little critters scurrying away from the sound.
She slams her fist down on the desk in front of me, continuing to yell.
“Emma Martin, the hot daughter of the fire captain. Emma Martin, the sexy stripper fucking two firemen. Emma Martin, oblivious to everyone else’s problems but her own!”
Ginger brings out the knife and brings it to my chin. I gasp as she allows the end of it to prick my skin lightly.
“You’ve never had to work hard in a day in your life have you? You’re always able to get whatever the fuck you want with minimal work. And you can’t even help a friend get a leg up into following her dreams.”
She pulls the knife away, and I sigh.
“Ginger I’m seriously sorry, I don’t have as much influence as you think I do! My Father-”
“I don’t give a FUCK about you or your father!” Ginger shoves the desk that she was leaning on to the side, causing it to flip upside down and fall to pieces. “But now you’re going to learn about what it feels like to have nothing. Welcome to my world, Emma Martin.”
