It’s the day of my date with Sean, and I can’t stop myself from smiling. I figured that he’d message me, but the same day I gave him my number?

I sift through my clothes, looking for the right outfit. Given how quickly he reached out, he must be really eager. Perhaps it’s best I assume I’ll be getting lucky on the first date.

My wardrobe isn’t anything to brag about but I have enough to make do. Assuming sex is a given, I pick out my thin lacy panties, and a bra I know I look good in. The question is, what do I put over it?

How do I want him? Well, in the simplest terms I want both Sean and Logan drooling for me. I want them mad with lust to the point they abandon their guise of gentle civility and take what they desire of me. The thought alone makes my stomach flip and my core clench.

I see my sheer black cocktail dress that hugs my hips in the best way possible. The idea of Sean getting a preview of what’s to come makes my smile broaden. The tease of it all was perfect. I’ll have to be sure to drag out the dinner and drinks part as much as possible. I want him at wits end by the time he takes me to his place.

As I slide into my dress, my mind drifts towards Logan. He’s yet to call but I’m sure he eventually will. Especially once he learns of Sean and I’s night together.

I finish getting ready when a knock at the door pulls me out of my thoughts. It must be Sean.

I jog to the door before taking a second to settle myself down. Teasing doesn’t work if you appear too wanting.

When I open the door, I’m met with a wall of purple silk draped over a mountain of muscle. My eyes flick up to Sean’s and his knowing smile tells me that I may as well have been visibly drooling. Could you blame me?

His silk shirt was long sleeved but with said sleeves rolled up to the elbow. His bare forearms were spirals of vascular musculature, and when he leans up against the door frame, I can’t help but fantasize about him pinning me down then and there.

“You look lovely,” he says, and I can feel the deep baritone of his voice in my chest.

I make my best attempt at a poker face and reply with a measured smile.

“I can say the same.”

He reaches out to me, offering his hand.

“Ready to go?”

I place my hand in his and his fingers close around mine; my hand now completely hidden. My mind wanders to the thought of those fingers wrapped around my throat.

Down, girl. You’re supposed to be driving him insane, not the other way around.

I follow him as he escorts me to the car. His small gestures of chivalry, holding the door for me and the like, are done smoothly and earnestly.

Still, I don’t care for how at ease he seems as we drive out to our dinner.

“So, does it score me any points for having finished my homework already?”

I have to stop myself from giggling as his knuckles whiten around the steering wheel.

“No, but I appreciate your work ethic,” he says through gritted teeth.

Now I can’t suppress the laugh. There’s just something special about making an otherwise dominant, alpha male squirm.

“Speaking of which,” he continues, ignoring my laughter, “I’ve kept an eye on you and your work.”

He shakes his head and smiles.

“You’re a way better student than I ever was.”

I offer a shrug.

“It’s what I’ve got to do.”

His brow furrows and he flashes me a look.
