“Let me tell you a little bit about my business.”
I begin my spiel, and she starts to fidget with a ring on her index finger. She slides it up and down and it’s quite distracting. The ring is a band of diamonds that are so perfect, they sparkle in the light.
“I’m boring you?”
Alexa smiles at me.
“I’ve read all about your company on your website. Tell me something that isn’t on your website,” she demands.
I like her ability to challenge me. This is just what I need in a partnership. She’s sexy and smart. The perfect combination. I think for a minute before deciding to give her some background information on my company that nobody knows.
She gets it right away that this is confidential information. She bites her full upper lip as she listens to me. I might be a billionaire, but I would give up all of my money for just one taste of those lips.
“How did you overcome these setbacks Mattheo?”
Now she’s getting personal. She wants to know what makes me tick. Even though I tell no one about my struggles, I find myself opening up to her. I’m a tough nut to crack, but she’s able to get me to open up with little effort on her part.
The waiter interrupts us, and we order without looking at a menu. We both order the same thing. We’re silent for a moment before either of us speaks.
“Like minds?” I say.
“Truly.”
Suddenly, I feel her foot traveling up and down my leg. This drives me wild. It’s only in movies that I’ve seen this happen, and now it’s happening to me. She moves her foot higher and higher.
“Do you mind?”
“Oh, do you not like that sort of thing?”
I feel my face grow hot. I know at this point that I have to have this woman. If she’s this daring at our first meeting, what’s the next meeting going to be like? I make a note to schedule our next meeting somewhere sexy and romantic. As she sits before me, I now know why she’s called the Temptress… and I can’t help but love it.
