Ican’t believe how sexy this guy is, and how well he dances. It’s actually incredibly rare to find a guy in a club who can actually dance. Plus, the dashing grin makes his company pretty easy.

When he first got onto the dance floor, I imagined he was just going to be like every other guy I’ve ever danced with—all shoulders and no hips. But when he began moving, I was shocked.

He’s in front of me now, moving back and forth, eyes gliding over my body. I’m a pretty good dancer who’s aware of her body, so music seems to move through me like a spell. I’ve even been told that I can be hypnotic, but so far, no one has lived up to my abilities.

The music is pulsing through the club, lights flashing on and off like lightning. He’s grinding up behind me, moving his hips back and forth with me, giving me some hot and heavy feelings.

His hands are on my shoulders as we sway to the music, then slowly start moving down my body. They reach my shoulders, then clutch my hands over my waist. He rubs both sets of our hands over my thighs, and I can feel the heat rising ever higher.

His hot breath on my ear tickles.

“You’re a really good dancer.”

I smile, then whisper back.

“You’re not so bad yourself.”

We return to swaying, and I think his hands are going to cup my ass when he spins me around, surprising me, then pulls me in closer. Once again our pelvis’ manage to align, and I can feel myself getting wet.

Our foreheads are touching, and I can’t help but smile. The music is thumping, the words are sexy, and he starts smiling too. I hope he can feel the heat from my middle meeting his body.

One hand embraces mine, while the other goes to my hip. He starts stepping backwards, then forward, forward then backward. I match him easily, and it starts to feel like we’re the only ones on the dance floor.

His breath is warm on my face, lips seeming to get closer and closer to me. I like the chase, so I move my mouth away from his. He moves his closer and keeps smiling.

I imagine what it would feel like to have our tongues intertwine while the music blasts—

Suddenly, the song is over. We’re still embracing when a different song comes on, but I can feel myself sweating, and running out of breath. He notices, then pulls backward.

“Do you want to re-hydrate?”

I nod, laughing.

“I think that’s a good idea.”

He takes me by the hand, and we move through the crowd to the bar. We stop, and he raises two fingers to the bartender.

“Two whiskey and cokes?”

He glances at me, and I nod.

I feel slightly taken with this guy, though I’m not sure what his intentions are. I feel like I’m going to go with it and see what happens.

We get our drinks and find a table near the dance floor. The music is pounding, and we have to yell to hear each other. But at least we get to lean in close to one another.

“I’m so glad I ran into you tonight.”

He yells into my ear.

I smile, taking a sip of my drink before speaking.

“I am too. I wasn’t expecting to find someone so interesting here.”

“Ditto.”

He takes the glass of whiskey in his hands and slams it back. Sighing, he wipes his mouth. He looks like he has something important to say, looking at me through the flashing lights without saying a word.
