Pointing to the chocolate croissant, I remember that I should be watching my weight, so I wave for the bakery clerk to put it back. My willpower has to be stronger than my desire for that croissant. I only wish that my willpower could be stronger than my desire for the two men in my life as well.

Being with Mattheo and James has been the best part of my days for the past month, but I need some time to be away from them so that I can decide who I miss the most. I have to grow my willpower and make it stronger than my desires.

When I get back to my office, there are a dozen pink notes stuck on my desk by me, and all of them are either from Mattheo or James. They disguise their calls with important business points, but I can see right through them.

They want to get to me, but I refuse to pay them any attention. I need to be strong, so I get busy with my work. There are twenty different jewelry styles that the team is working to put into our collection.

Being the chief designer, the project is waiting on me. I have plenty of work to do, so I tell my assistant Tracey to start taking their calls. She can handle all my business. She probably knows it better than I do since she did all the preliminary work on our proposals to them.

The jewelry work is so captivating, I don’t leave my house for the office for a week. I’ve got a room set up with all my supplies and a big wood table to work on. I don’t have to worry about picking up my mess at the end of the day.

While I’m in the middle of a big decision to use pearls or Swarovski crystals, my assistant Tracey calls.

“Boss, don't forget about the celebration party on Winston’s Yacht. He promises there will be lots of business contacts of his that you will want to meet.”

“I’m not going to that Tracey. I’m on style seventeen and I need to finish three more by Monday.”

“Boss, it’s Friday, you have the weekend.”

I sigh, she’s right. I need to make time for this party. Upon hanging up the phone, I go into my bedroom to make wardrobe decisions. I find a gemstone purple jumpsuit that’s backless and sparkles with Swarovski crystals. It was a business gift.

I decide to wear my hair in an updo with curls cascading down my back, including some extensions that I want to add. Suddenly, I look at my watch and realize that I’ll have to do my hair and makeup on my own. After rushing to get ready, I’m out the door with only minutes to spare.

When my taxi pulls up to the dock, I can see Mattheo and James on the deck of the yacht. What are they doing here? Tracey told me they wouldn’t be there. I’ve been tricked. Is Tracey in on this, or did they trick her too?

The taxi driver opens my door and I tip him. I’m seething with anger, so the driver doesn’t get a sexy smile to carry him through the night. The minute I set foot on the yacht; there they are.

“Alexa, why haven’t you answered any of our messages?” Mattheo asks.

“Come on Alexa. It’s been forever since we talked to you,” James says.

I want to run off the yacht. It’s too painful to see the both of them here together. My chest feels tight, and I’m having trouble breathing.

“It’s only been a week, not forever. I run a business too. Unlike the both of you, I’m hands-on.”

“I missed you,” James says.

“Yes, Alexa, I’m concerned about you,” Mattheo says.

This picks at my heart. Why do they have to be so caring? Mattheo with his dark, sexy looks and James with his youthful persona. It’s hard to pull myself away from both of them, but I do.

“I see Winston- I have to tell him that I’m here.”

I walk away from both Mattheo and James, but it seems that my heart stays with them.

For some reason, I feel so awkward when I talk to Winston. He gives me a hug and is glad that I’m here. He introduces me to some of his business friends and I talk up my company.

The whole time I’m working the crowd, Mattheo and James are not far away from me. They’re giving me looks that seem to be knocking the wind out of me, they’re so intense. It’s hard to pay attention to anyone else.

When I have to go to the powder room, they follow me and confront me.

“This has to stop Alexa. Why are you avoiding us?”

I can’t believe what I’m hearing from Mattheo. James agrees with him.

“Come on, how can you walk away without making a decision about who you want to be with?”

My mouth goes dry. I need to tell them the truth. But how? I’m such a selfish bitch because I’m avoiding them and not deciding who I want to be with. In fact, I’m angry because I have to make a choice.

“Do you both want to know what I want?”

“Of course we do. That’s why we came to this party,” James says.

Mattheo stays silent and looks at me directly in the eyes. This kind of scares me. My knees are growing weak, and I wish that I hadn’t worn stilettos that feel like they’re going to snap any minute because of the pressure I’m putting on them.

“This may shock you guys, but I don’t want to pick between you two. In fact, I won’t. I want the both of you, and I don’t want any protests. I want both of you in my bed at the same time for the rest of my life.”

Two shocked men look at me, but I don’t care. I’ve finally spoken what is truly in my heart.
