Kelly

I’m a fucking dumbass sex fiend!

What in the hell am I thinking by advocating this trifecta between the three of us? I’m not thinking at all. As I turn to make certain that the guys are heading in opposite directions to their places of rest, I giggle as I realize that I’ve successfully put them both in quarantine.

Who’s going to put you in a quarantine?

Trouncing back up the hill between the two barns, I’m just as angry at myself for this quarrel between Owen and Trent. I didn’t think this through and instead, began forcing them to do things they didn’t choose for themselves.

Deciding that I can’t finish anything else with this at the forefront of my mind, I head to my homestead to try to look at this situation with a different set of eyes. While finding my focus as I continue working their case.

If I can even solve it.

Inside my place, I kick my shoes off and take a beer from the fridge. Sitting down on the sofa, I begin the process of trying to see this through their eyes and not my lusty eyes. Twisting off the top of the beer, I down a swig, licking my lips.

Beer is one of those things that can really satisfy a person in some tough moments.

I can’t help but feel guilty that I’m somehow at the bottom of their issues, which more than likely stem from my requests. Who do I think I am? Taking another drink, I set the bottle down and put my shoes on again. I bite the bullet and walk to Owen’s place, knocking on the door.

He answers sullenly with a blank face. “Can you meet me at my place around seven? I’m going to ask Trent as well to come and talk. And only talk.”

Without saying a word, he nods his head and closes the door. Well, that was refreshing. I find Trent in the kitchen and ask him the same thing. He says he’ll be there. I head back to my place and decide to take a bath and soak for a while before the two of them come over.

Back at my place, I again kick the shoes off, grab my beer, and go start some soapy bathwater flowing. Disrobing, I climb in, feeling the heat glide up my leg. Goosebumps follow suit as I settle myself into the bubbles. Taking a swig from the beer, I try to ease my body back into the tub, covering everything but my head.

Sighing, I place my head to rest on the rim of the tub and close my eyes, allowing the water to relax me. Thoughts of Trent and Owen come to mind and for one fleeting second, I want to masturbate to those wickedly tempting considerations.

Knock it off! I reprimand myself. This is why you’re having to chat with them later. Backing off the notion, I sit up and wrap my arms around my knees. How can I do this to them? They’re best friends fighting because of me. I polish off the remainder of the beer which is becoming warmer.

After a few more minutes of sulking, I open the drain and stand to step from the tub. Drying off, I choose some relaxing joggers and play some soft music. Not too long after, a knock raps on my door. Owen is standing there, still looking sullen. Behind him, in the near distance, I spot Trent on his way.

“Come in and make yourself comfortable,” I tell Owen while Trent stops momentarily. “Trent, c’mon up here.” He quickens his pace and walks in sitting in a chair across from Owen. “I want to try and help you two as well as get back on track with the investigation. “I’m terribly sorry for the position I’ve put you guys in.”

Both heads pop up at once when they hear my apology. “It’s not all your fault,” Owen starts. “We hold a portion of the blame. I’m having some trouble with the threesome, though, to be honest.”

Trent leans forward in the chair, elbows on his knees. He nods his head and says, “I’m with him. The situation around the ranch is tough enough and now this tension is mingling in.” He looks at Owen for the first time since they sat down. “I’m sorry man. I didn’t mean to take everything out on you.”

“I just wanted to help you is all,” Owen says.

“Great start!” I say as I take a seat on the sofa. “Now about these feelings. You know, it isn’t wrong to explore sexual encounters. It’s a learning experience to see what you like and don’t like.”

“Not sure I like this,” Owen says.

“I understand, but if you’re thinking you’re gay, stop that,” I try to encourage them to see it differently. “You’re not.”

“He’s been my best friend for over twenty-five years, Kelly,” Trent says. “Why would I even give credence to your suggestions since I’ve never even once looked at him this way?” he stands and faces the window, staring out of it into the darkening sky.

“Right,” Owen says. “He’s always looked out for me.”

“Okay. But most definitely, I’ve got to focus up on the investigation because nothing is getting solved,” I tell them. “No matter how we feel.”

“True,” Trent turns to us and sits down again. “I’m still unsure about the threesome sex, but I admit that I do enjoy it.”

Owen looks at his friend across the coffee table. “I feel the same way. Uncertain about me doing him and vice versa. But the sex is fun and erotic.” He observes Trent’s face showing some relief.

“It’s good to know that you discerned that as well,” he messes with his hands and looks at me. “It’s nothing against you, Kelly. We, me and Owen, need to talk between ourselves to settle this.”

Owen says, “Yeah, let’s start working together instead of against each other. I promise to give it my best shot.”

Trent smiles and nods in agreement. “I promise the same. There’s enough already working against us that we shouldn’t be against each other.”

“Alright, it’s settled. After tonight, we do our part to get this figured out,” I tell them, my heart shining with hope. “And not just with the ranch, but our budding romance.”

Both the men agree and leave on good terms.

Whew, I pulled that out of my ass and we’ll all be better for it.
