Drew nods, sounding persuaded. “This isn’t the worst idea I’ve ever heard. Even if we placed second, the prize would be enough to work out a deal with Sam. We’ll figure the rest out.”

I don’t even know what I’m objecting to at this point.
Drew gets up, offering Greer a bottle of beer from the cooler. “Would you give this a shot?” he asks.
She nods. “If you think you can teach me, then I’ll train every waking moment.”
And just like that, we have the enrollment fee and a new, totally green, totally sexy, even more off-limits team member.
