“I knew it.Congratulations!”He spins me around, then sets me on my feet.

“Thanks for being here.I couldn’t wait to share the news with you.”I teasingly poke him in the chest.“But what if I hadn’t gotten the job?We wouldn’t be celebrating.”

“You would’ve needed a hug, and I would’ve been here to give it to you.But we both knew you’d get this job.”

“She didn’t ask me any questions.I mean, she did when we talked at the nursery the first day I met her, but today wasn’t like any interview I’ve ever been to.She told me about the job, said what the pay and benefits would be, and asked if I wanted it.”

“Awesome.”He holds up a finger.“Let me grab what I brought for celebrating.”

While he jogs to his truck, I unlock the door.A second later, he walks in with a Topo Chico in one hand and a box of Bottle Caps in the other.

Grinning, he holds them at eye level.“A little sparkly and a little sweet.”

Choked up, I nibble my lip.I’ve never had a boyfriend like this, someone who makes little things feel like grand gestures.“Are you thinking I’m going to kiss you every time you eat Bottle Caps?”

He steps closer and shakes the box.“I bought a whole case, hoping for lots of kisses.”

“You’re one of a kind, Tyler.I’m really glad we met.”I press my lips to his, then pull away.“You taste like Bottle Caps.”I glance at the sealed box.

“There’s half a box in my truck.I had to do something while I was waiting for you.”He tugs me closer.“Besides, I know how much you like the taste.”

“I likeyou, Tyler.”

Waitingfor the ceremony to start, Tyler adjusts his collar.“I’m not used to ties. Can you tell?”

“You look very nice.”I run a hand along his collar, smoothing out the spots that aren’t lying flat.

Grayson takes his spot at the front and fixes his gaze on the double doors at the back of the chapel. He’s so focused on watching for Daisy that he may not even be aware the room is full of family and friends.

He doesn’t seem nervous, just excited.

Tyler leans close.“Can I have your phone a sec?”

I unlock it and pass it over.

He snaps a quick photo, which draws Grayson’s attention, and Tyler gives a thumbs-up.

Grayson nods, then faces the doors again.

“Daisy will want that picture.Grayson rarely looks that excited. And your camera is much better than mine.”Tyler drapes an arm around my shoulders.“I have tissues in my pocket if you cry.”

“Oh, I’m gonna cry.That’s a given.”

He kisses my temple, which weakens my floodgates. This man makes me feel emotions I didn’t know were possible. In books and movies, women talk about feeling treasured, and those were just words.Until now.

The bridal march starts, and I grip Tyler’s hand as we stand. Before watching Daisy walk up the aisle, I snap a picture of Grayson with his jaw hanging open. Then I lean in closer to Tyler and snap a photo of Daisy’s bright smile.

I guess love is a mixture of happiness and awe.

My tears start before we’re even seated, and Tyler stuffs a tissue into my hand.

Since I’ve kept my circle of friends very small, weddings aren’t a regular part of my routine. And sitting here beside Tyler while watching true love on display makes one thing clear.

I love Tyler.

Telling him that at a wedding is probably the quickest way to send him running for cover.Or maybe he won’t run because he feels the same way.But I’m still not telling him today.

At the end of the ceremony, we all stand as Grayson escorts Daisy down the aisle.Having the ceremony and reception at the new venue on the ranch gives the wedding an intimate feel, just like Daisy planned.
