Does this mean he’s open to reconciliation? Is he no longer pissed?

“Well?” Kylie demands.

I shrug. “I…I don’t know. They were here for me after my set.”

“You’ve got a big admirer.”

A smile comes to my face. “Yeah, I do.”

“Did you bother reading the note?”

That snaps me out of my temporary love spell. I glance at the huge bouquet of roses again and that’s when I notice it. Tucked into the vase is a little note card with my name scrawled across the front. I snatch it up and practically tear it open.

“What’s it say?” Kylie asks, but I ignore her.

Meet me in the red VIP room in fifteen.

My heart skips a beat. The red VIP room is on the second floor of the club. Fifteen minutes ago must have dwindled down by now. Especially after I sat here for several minutes in a daze. I jump to my feet and rush out of the room. Kylie calls after me, but I don’t have the time or patience to bother listening to a word she says.

I’m on autopilot maneuvering through the club. Twice other customers try to stop me. One of them a guy who has become a regular over the last month. I barely mutter an apology before I keep going, climbing the winding steps upstairs. The thrill is buzzing through me so deeply, I forget to knock when I reach the red VIP room.

I turn the knob and rush straight inside. I stop within a few footsteps. The room is empty. Nobody’s here. I turn over the note again and skim the message, making sure I read it properly. Maybe I’m early after all.

That thought is still on my mind when the door swings open. Several men walk in. I whip around with my brows knitting together as I recognize none of them.

Except for two.

Tony Lovato stands as a towering presence in the red VIP room, his dark eyes glittering as he gives me a once-over. At his side, looking sharper in designer threads than I’ve ever seen him, is Enzo. He grins.

“Hello, Falynn. So glad you decided to join us.”
