A keening whine began to build in the back of her throat. She was coming again, squeezing him so hard he saw stars.
“Our colts,” he gasped out as she inhaled suddenly and held her breath.
Their gazes fused.
“Our fillies,” he added, his eyes burning, breath hitching, heart thundering.
“Our children, Divina. I can see them so clearly. Stay with me, woman. I will give you so many babies to love. I will give you everything. I—”
She yanked him down to her and captured his mouth in a ruthless, claiming kiss.
And they reached the zenith together, broken and put back together in the same infinitesimal yet endless breath.
