Six months later
“Baby! Your folks are here!”
August, Darcy, and James come walking in the back door, their cheeks all a little flushed from the weather. With the temperatures like they have been, we’ve been looking for more and more excuses to be outside.
Darcy has found a way to transform the space we have out there, making it into a bit of an oasis. There are chairs and gardens, little trinkets she saw at the store and had to have. Her touches are found all throughout the house now that she has settled into her designation.
It feels incredible to walk in my doors and see pieces of my omega scattered everywhere I look. She loves obsessing over little corners and displays, figuring out the perfect way to make something feel like home to her.
Her eyes light up in affection as her dad and stepmom walk through the door, and she’s the first one there to greet them.
Ever since that visit to the compound all those months ago, it’s been pretty much smooth sailing. Everything with her has just been… incredible. She’s embraced who she is, what she wants, how she feels about us.
Her dad and stepmom officially moved to town about a month after that, and her and August’s mom were instant friends. Nicole has never tried to replace her actual mother, and I think that’s why it works so well between them. They're friends more than anything, and since Darcy is so selective on who she gives that title to, Nicole cherishes her all the more for it.
“Are they here yet?” Her dad asks.
“No,” Darcy replies in a warm tone. “Parker messaged me a bit ago to say they’re running a few minutes behind. Something about his new mate wanting to impress everybody with flowers or gifts or something. I don’t know. He rambles a lot.”
Gavin ended up getting arrested for assault about a month after everything went down. He picked a fight with the wrong person in a bar, got his ass locked up. We may or may not have, but definitely did, throw a party when we heard the news. Parker turned into a different person. It only took about another month for him to be ready to start dating, because Owen insisted that he wanted a bigger pack to protect him, and to care for him. I think the idea of carrying Parker through a heat on his own just terrified the fuck out of him.
Tonight’s the first time we’ll be meeting the two alphas he's been seeing, because they wanted to keep it quiet while they all got to know each other. Darcy had dozens of late-night chats with Parker, listening to all of the juicy details unfold. She’s done some video calls with her brother’s new guys too, because she demanded that was her right as his twin.
Tonight is also a bit of a test, to see how these new alphas react to being around another omega. We need to know if they show any of the qualities that cut Gavin out.
We all plan to just make it clear from the get-go that she’s ours. Whether her parents are here or not, she's well aware that she's getting the full territorial alpha bullshit package tonight.
We’ve invited two unbound alphas into our home, so we will do whatever it takes to make sure that our girl is thinking about nothing except her own pack tonight. Don't worry, we've got a plan.
“Darcy! Can you help me with something real quick out back?”
Darcy looks to Colter in confusion, because we didn't plan anything officially that has anything to do with the tiny house out back. The tiny house that's mostly used for storage or guest quarters since August got over his aversion to being around so many other dicks while he sleeps.
“Excuse me for a moment, guys.” Her parents just smile at her and start fussing with August.
I excuse myself as well, getting a dirty look from James because his manners are too good around Darcy's family to abandon them. Fine with me. Maybe I'll make a video and send it to him.
It can't have been more than a minute or two since Darcy left the main house, but when I walk in, Colter already has her skirt up around her hips and her panties off as he goes down on her. She's too lost to his mouth to notice my entry, so I stand by the door and just enjoy the show.
