Now that...

That could be a time suck.

The majority of posts were about toilet paper.

Or, lack thereof.

I looked away from the screen, and stared off to the right as I thought about my bathroom and under sink storage. If I remembered correctly, there were at least three rolls there.

My head swayed side to side as I contemplated...

You know those memes about being unable to keep your negative thoughts from your face?

Yeah. That was me.

If I saw an ugly shirt at Kohls, there was no hiding my feelings from my face.

So now, while contemplating my toilet paper situation, I knew that my thoughts were written all over my expression. Thank goodness, no one was around.

Either way, three rolls should last me five weeks minimum. I’d be good.

Bringing my attention back to Facebook, I scrolled more.

I was scrolling fast now, not even truly paying attention to what was being posted, but something caught my eye and I stopped, slowly scrolling back up to try and figure out what it was.

It was only three or so posts before I found what had caught my attention—a media day photo of Ryan.

From the photoshoot before the show began.

The producers were playing the bartender angle, and had him leaning against a bar top with a white bar towel over one shoulder. He had a five-o’clock shadow and his hair was messy but styled that way.

It was very “Ryan.”

Laid back.

Good time.

Ryan.

I clicked the link that was attached to the image, curious.

The thing about The Rose and Ryan was, I didn’t even need click-bait headlines to want to know what people had to say.

Ryan was the click-bait.

Unfortunately, this article had nothing of interest in it. In fact, the first paragraphs weren’t even about Ryan at all!

Just as I was about to go back to Facebook though, a video appeared at the bottom of the article.

My thumb floated above the play button. The freeze screen was that scene.

The one that broke my heart.

I stared at the screen, not allowing my thumb to drop on the ‘play’ icon.

I knew what watching the scene again would do to me and frankly...I didn’t want to go there right now.

With a huge push of determination, I closed out of the app all together and looked out at the woods. The afternoon sun was starting to sink and once again, I worried about where my friend was.
