“What did you just do, Ryan Madden?” I demanded, although there wasn’t a lick of heat in my words.

“Screenshot.”

I gasped, but realized that in my position, there really wasn’t anything to see. I had an arm folded in front of my chest, and my other hand was up by my face. At the time, I’d been laughing.

Clearly, if someone saw it, they’d realize I was naked but...

“No one sees that,” I said, even though I knew that Ryan would never dare to share something that personal with anyone else.

He’d moved his phone now so that it was focused on his face. “If you think for one second I’d ever willingly let another person see you like this, you’re out of your damn mind, Savannah. You’re mine. You’re my person, my love. I hope you enjoyed whatever dick you got before me, because it’s only mine that’s going in that pussy from here until forever.”

I should have been concerned about the words he spoke. Sure, in some of my romance novels, they came off as sweet and caring. A true alpha type thing to say. But in some, where the context was different, it was borderline abusive.

But I knew Ryan.

And while these words weren’t anything like he’d ever said to me before...

“The same goes for you, Ryan. I won’t tolerate cheating.”

“As if I’d ever cheat on you.” He shook his head. “I finally got you where I’ve wanted you for years. I’m not about to let that go.”

“Okay.”

“Okay.”

Then I smiled, and he smiled, and all was right in the world.

“I’m going to shower. And then talk to Mitch. I’ll be over around dinner time. Does that work? I can order something to be delivered?”

I nodded. “That sounds good. I should shower too. And maybe make room for you.”

“Long-term room,” he suggested. “Not just a drawer, but maybe...a couple of them.”

I liked that.

I liked it a lot.
