“I’m going to kick off these shoes.”

He popped open a beer. “I will try tae suffer in silence. But that means I am takin’ off m’favorite hat in the whole world.” He tossed the cap to the table. “And then m’jacket, ye daena be upset, either.”

“I do really, really like you in that tux jacket, but I will try not to complain.” He folded his jacket over the back of a chair.

I sat down and unbuckled the ankle straps of my silver, sequin-covered, high heels and placed them to the side. I wiggled my toes happily on the rug. “That is a relief.”

He sat down in a chair facing mine, loosened his tie, pulled it from under his collar, then unbuttoned the top three buttons of his shirt. Then he sprawled, leaned back in the chair, the way hot men liked to do, his knees splayed, confident and oh so masculine. He took a sip of beer and wordlessly patted his thigh.

I put my feet there. He put his hand on my ankle and leveled his eyes on me. “How do ye think it went, yer premiere?”

“It went perfectly. There was a lot riding on it: my divorce; his affair with Ainsley; the whole sordid mess. But somehow we managed to get through it and I think we bored the press enough by being so drama-free that they won’t be able to run a story about us. Your coming was very helpful — if I had been alone that might have been a story, since Darren brought a date, but we both had a date, so... I think it went well.”

“Good.”

He watched me.

I nervously said, taking a bite of chocolate. “I think this might be the quietest I’ve ever seen you.”

“It is because this is momentous.”

“Yes, I suppose it is.”

His hand ran along my ankle and up my calf.

“The fabric of yer dress is verra soft.”

I grinned. “You are a wonderful weirdo.”

He chuckled.

“You can’t think of anything else to say? You have me in a hotel room, you told me you loved me, and now you are speechless except to remark about the softness of my dress?”

“Aye, I am rendered speechless, I love ye and I have ye in a hotel room, and what am I goin’ tae do now?”

I play-scoffed. “I bet you’ll think of something.”

“I ken I promised tae kiss ye only, but now I am wondering... where I am allowed tae kiss ye? I would rather like tae kiss ye many places.”

“Liam that was... oh my god, that was so... see you do know what to say.” His hand moved up my thigh, where he grabbed my ass and shifted my hips forward in my chair. Then he began lifting my skirt up higher and higher.

I put the chocolate down, because it seemed like this was about to get important.

His eyes glinted, “Yer panties are so blue and fancy, they arna the same as the ones I helped ye put in yer pack.”

“You remember my panties? Those were my hiking panties! These are another thing...” He tugged them down my legs and tossed them aside. I muttered, “Altogether different...” As he dropped from his chair to his knees, and put his arms around me and nestled his face right between my legs and began kissing me there. “Oh...”

I wrapped my legs around his back and ran my fingers through his hair and my view was my fancy dress, my bare legs, the top of his tousled hair, his broad shoulders and he was driving me absolutely wild with his tongue and licks and sucks and kisses and nibbles and I moaned with pleasure as his hand rubbed up under my dress to my breast and he held on as he drove me to a roaring climax there on the hotel chair.

He rested his cheek on my thigh after.

I was panting and I wanted him on me, in me... so I tugged him gently up... up... “Come, closer, I want you.”

He rose up to standing, lifted me from my chair, hitched me to his front, carried me across the room and dropped me down onto the middle of the bed. I laughed. “And I knew with a little urging you’d figure out what to do with me.”

He grinned, his eyes twinkling, as he undid his belt buckle. “See ye told me ye were tae nervous tae do more than kiss, but now look at ye, post-orgasm lyin’ on the bed, wantin’ me...”

I laughed again. “Hey, love, you need to undress faster.”
