“It was a good fight,” I tell Caleb.

“You knocked me out in the first five minutes,” he holds his head and I know that Remo should see him.

“Sorry, I was angry.”

“Briar was right though,” Caleb says, and I nod, because she was.

“I will make it up to you,” I promise him.

“Good,” he takes off for the showers.

“Yeah, she was right,” Tristan agrees.

“Yeah, yeah. It’s just that Embry is my sister,” I argue.

“Let him tell his side of the story,” Tristan pats my shoulder and I head for the office.

I push open the door and Remo scrambles out of his seat and I hold my hands up, “Not going to hurt you.”

“It’s over?” Briar asks, still looking upset with me.

“Yeah. Piper, Caleb is showering,” I say, and Piper rushes out.

“You won, I take it?” Briar folds her arms over her chest.

“I did. And you were right. I was ruining Caleb’s day and I should listen to Remo,” I say and Briar snorts.

“Remo, he just admitted I was right,” she rasps.

“I heard it,” Don chuckles.

“Okay, let’s go home and we can talk,” I grumble.

Remo says he will meet us there as we wait for the others. He needs to go home and tell his wife first.

“Holden, bring Caleb and Piper,” I say as the rest of us walk out.

I drive to the hotel and go right to the shower when we get back. Briar settles on the couch with Tristan and Thorn.

I throw on some sweats and a shirt before joining them. At the same time, Remo shows up.

“Thorn, go ahead and order. Make sure you get tea for your sister,” I tell him as he goes for the phone.

“I won’t forget,” he promises.

“Now talk,” I instruct Remo.

“You’re not going to like it, and I can’t believe it myself. And the fact that it’s a betrayal all around,” Don starts.

“Just get to the point,” I bark.

“Embry was sleeping with Lane,” Remo says so softly that I almost don’t hear him.

“What the fuck?” Tristan growls.

“He was what?”
