“I ordered breakfast,” he smiles sheepishly.

“Enough for everyone?”

“I told them I was feeding a small army,” Remo laughs.

“You’re the man,” I answer the door as he goes to wake up the others.

I take the breakfast cart and roll it to the table just as Briar comes out.

“You should have woken me up,” she says.

“You looked peaceful,” I kiss her lightly. She’s dressed in a white sweater dress with black boots. The dress hugs her curves just right and I want to push her back into the bedroom and have her take the dress off slowly, revealing all those delicious curves like a present.

“Easy,” she says, chuckling.

“Can’t help it, you’re so beautiful,” I say as she goes to pour a cup of coffee.

“Thank you,” she smiles sweetly at me.

“You have your sunglasses?” I ask her.

“Yes, in my purse,” she nods.

“Good. I think we will try to go in one of the side doors to try and avoid some of the cameras,” I tell her.

It’s not because I’m not proud to have her on my arm, it’s that we still don’t know where her parents are and if they will try to come after her or Thorn. She wears a hood and glasses when we walk in, Thorn wears a hat and glasses as well. I’m just taking precautions.

“I’m starving,” Thorn says, taking a seat and digging in.

“Slow down,” Briar says, chuckling.

I watch her interact with her brother and it pinches my heart that my sister is evil. Maybe it was the money. My mother gave her a bigger allowance because she’s the youngest. Remo makes good money from his job. He also works for Viktor. Embry was treated well and look how she turned out. Briar had nothing and she would give her life for her brother.

“Viktor’s men are outside,” Remo whispers to me.

I nod. I knew they were here when I answered the door to breakfast. I explained to Briar yesterday that it was for safety. I was told that they would stay a couple of days after the fight if we chose to stay. I don’t know if we will since we have Vegas to prepare for. I want everyone to be there, especially Thorn and Briar since they’ve been affected by Lane the most. Thorn, only because Briar is his sister and while he acts like a badass, he loves his sister.

“Finish up, we have to be at the arena,” I order them to hurry and then I’m shuffling all of us out the door.

We arrive at the arena and are shown to the same room I used to change last time. There’s a little bathroom and I step in to put on my shorts while Briar waits with Tristan. Tristan and Dante are my corner coaches. I set aside box seats for everyone else. I throw on a sweatshirt before stepping out of the bathroom.

“Ready?” I ask her as she stands, taking my outstretched hand. Everyone is waiting, some are pacing. Everyone is on edge. There is a psycho out there.

I take them to the box I reserved. They can watch through the windows and the TV’s that are all around the box.

“You can watch from here. Once I’m done, I’ll come get you,,” I say.

“Okay,” she whispers.

“I’ll be fine, sweetheart,” I assure her.

“I know,” she reaches up and cups my cheek, pulling me down to kiss her. I kiss her lightly before pulling away.

“If you win, I’ll give you a big congratulatory award,” she says with a smile.

“I know I’ll win,” I kiss the top of her head and chuckle.

“Cocky much?” she snorts.
