“Yeah. Whoever is going to date me has to get past them,” I tell her, taking a seat at the table.

“Good point.” She nods.

“Good thing he loves me.” Shane weaves his hands behind his head with a chuckle.

“I haven’t met them yet,” Afton says.

“You will tomorrow.” Snow catches on.

“What?” Afton asks, his eyes growing even wider.

“London controls the competitions,” she explains. “We want you to meet the family.”

“You do?”

“We do.” Shane takes a seat next to him.

“I’m honored. I really don’t know what to say.”

“Say you’ll stay for movies and hot tub,” Shane suggests, tapping his knuckles on the table.

“Yeah, I’ll stay.” Afton winks at Snow, and then I notice his hand disappear under the table. Shane’s eyes almost roll back in his head.

Afton wastes no time.

“What else do we have to do for dinner?” I ask.

“We have some time. Won’t be ready for a few hours since I didn’t know how lunch would go,” Shane says and then nods.

“Sounds like the hot tub is calling now.” Snow winks and then rushes up the stairs. I just laugh as the others follow.

Home.
