Chapter 4

Chloe

After it was all over, his arms wrapped around me and I melted into his embrace. He effortlessly pulled free from my body and lifted me from the floor, before he carried me to the couch. Gently, he gathered me in his lap and held me close. For a while, I was silent as I lay against him, just trying to quiet my tears and normalize my breathing. The heavy beat of his heart was soothing and for a while, I just listened. His cologne was powerfully seductive, and I found myself lulled into an even more relaxed state as it surrounded me in its warm embrace.

My tears gradually stopped, and my own heartbeat returned to a normal pace. Silas cupped my face between his hands and wiped the wetness with his thumbs. I was only vaguely aware of the fact that I had cried for him.

“Such a good girl. You did so well,” he murmured, and my heart pulsed at the sweetness in his voice.

“I’ve never,” I began but he hushed me softly.

“I know, sweet girl. You don’t have to explain,” he said, and I curled even more tightly into his arms. Right now, his lap felt like a safe place and I shivered hard as I pressed my cheek against the crook of his neck. I breathed in his scent once more and sighed.

“I never finished my show,” I whispered.

“It’s alright. I paid for an open bar for the night to ensure that everyone left happy and very drunk. The owner knows me and will see to it that everyone has a very good night,” he replied.

I licked my lips, trying to wrap my head around the events that had transpired tonight.

“I should be angry with you,” I murmured.

“But you aren’t, are you, little one,” he pressed.

“No,” I whispered. I was telling the truth. I meant every last word and I hated that. Even now, my body was throbbing with a deeper satisfaction than I’d ever felt in my life. My mouth was sore. My bottom was aching from his palm and my pussy hurt inside and out, but even with all that, I felt truly free for the first time ever.

I wasn’t about to tell him that though. I planned to keep that to myself.

For a while longer, I lay in his lap, just enjoying the feeling of his warmth and protection. Finally, I opened my mouth to speak.

“I don’t even know you. All I know is that your name is Silas,” I whispered.

“Soon, you’ll learn a whole lot more, my pretty little pet,” he murmured, and I closed my eyes, too tired to even try to figure out what that meant.

When I woke up, I knew I was dressed even before I opened my eyes. My legs were bare and when I reached down to touch my waist, I felt the familiar material of my skirt beneath my fingers. I could tell that I was wearing my silky shirt too, but as I took stock of myself, I came to a few unsettling conclusions. My bra was missing, and I wasn’t wearing any panties either. I pressed my thighs together as a blush crept up my cheeks. I covered my nipples with one arm, hoping it wasn’t completely obvious that there was nothing underneath my clothing. Once I had taken stock of myself, I started to focus on other things in order to take my mind off my naked flesh.

My body jostled from side to side. I was moving and when I finally managed to pry my sleepy lids apart, I saw a number of streetlamps passing by, which made one thing very clear.

I was in a car.

“Where am I?” I whispered.

A voice I didn’t recognize answered.

“I’m taking you home,” the man said. Feeling more than a little alarmed, I sat up and tried to figure out what all had happened since I’d fallen asleep.

“Who are you and how do you know where I live?” I asked, trying to rub the sleepiness from my eyes. I looked out the window, not recognizing where I was from the landmarks we were passing by, but it was a bit difficult to concentrate. All I could think about was the feel of Silas’ fingers on my skin and as I pushed myself up higher in the seat, I groaned as the soreness in my stiff muscles washed over me. I licked my lips, tasting the salty flavor of his seed and I shivered with shameful arousal. My nipples hardened and I crossed my arms over my chest, unsure if they would show through my shirt. The man in the car cleared his throat, distracting me from the sordid thoughts running through my mind and I lifted

my gaze to look at his face in the rearview mirror.

He seemed a bit older, maybe in his early to mid-forties. His eyes were dark mahogany and surrounded by soft wrinkles that spoke of a man who’d seen the world. I watched his Adam’s apple bob up and down as he swallowed and noticed that his beard was speckled with gray and peppered with darker shades. Overall, he carried with him a distinguished air and for some strange reason, it calmed me. He smiled and I chewed my lip, getting the sudden feeling that this man was far more than just a simple driver.

“My name is Damon Waters,” he replied. I rubbed my forehead, trying to scrape my memory for any semblance of familiarity. It almost felt like I should know him, but I finally shook my head in confusion.

“I don’t know that name,” I responded.

“I wouldn’t expect you to. I work for Silas. I’ve been tasked with making sure that you end up in your bed tonight, safe and sound,” he replied. I chewed my lip warily.

“He’s a powerful man, isn’t he?” I asked.
