After I finished reading the letter, I tucked it away in my dress, along with the map. I fingered the bottle of sleeping medication. I wondered if I could actually use it. If I needed to, if I should. These four Vakarrans, although they were used to being obeyed, were not cruel. My life was not as most humans experienced, under the hand of a Vakarran.

They hadn’t hurt me really in any way. Sure, I was sitting here with a sore ass and a plug stuffed in my bottom hole, but tomorrow, I’d be no worse for wear. I was, in reality, perfectly fine.

I wondered, would it be so bad to stay? At least for a little while for the sake of learning a bit more about what happened to my sister? And keep them away from Kaela and Danika hiding away in the woods?

I leaned back against their small flying ship. I watched as Ryder and Aarom descended down to the engine hatch, wher

e they all talked in hushed voices. They didn’t use their strange telepathic link either, so I couldn’t listen in on their conversation, sadly enough.

What good was this extraordinary random alien ability if I couldn’t use it?

I glared at them.

My stomach growled. I realized then that I’d skipped well past lunch and we were approaching dinner.

“Bastards. A human has needs too,” I thought.

All four of them turned their heads toward mine then. Shit. Apparently, they heard that.

Davon closed the outside hatch and they began to walk toward me.

“Hungry then? I’ve got something you could eat,” Morgn teased and I felt my face turn beet red. Even though I should be appalled by the idea, I wasn’t. I even felt my pussy clench at the thought of taking his cock in my mouth. I wondered what he’d taste like.

As they approached me, I palmed my dress, making sure the paper and the bottle were well hidden. Once I confirmed that, I rose to my feet and waited.

“So, you’re hungry then?” Aarom said first. I nodded.

“We can prepare food on board the Starrider or we can head back to that human penthouse and figure out something there?” Davon offered.

“Let’s go back on the Starrider. We can eat and then head back to continue Alaina’s training before we rest for the night,” Ryder offered.

Morgn just grinned darkly in my direction.

Cocky bastard.

One day, I’d figure out how to best them all.

Instead, like a perfect gentleman, Davon took my arm in his and with a simple touch, released me from the rope that held me captive. I realized the rope must react to something about his alien features, which explained why I’d been unable to escape before. Which was a rather annoying realization.

The four of them then escorted me on board their ship like I was their queen and they were my kings. For a moment, it actually felt nice.

Once on board, they steered me into a small cafeteria. The ship was bigger inside than I had expected. Perhaps it was a feature of their technology that I hadn’t known about before.

“I’ve got a few food boxes left, I think,” Ryder said, and I cocked my head to the side in confusion.

“We’ve got an ample supply of protein capsules, so I’ll just have one of those,” Morgn replied and Aarom and Davon agreed.

Ryder placed a white box in front of me. It looked like it had a metal sensor at each side and I looked at it with bewilderment. He quickly realized I didn’t know what to do and gently took my hands and placed my palms to either side, on top of the sensors.

“Think about your favorite food. When you concentrate, it’ll appear inside. It doesn’t take long, so when you’re ready, open the box and prepare to be amazed,” Davon explained enthusiastically beside me. I looked in his direction, and despite the feeling that I should hate them all, at that moment, I knew it wasn’t true. I couldn’t. Especially Davon.

The look on his face was pure joy. He was so excited to see my reaction. He grinned and urged me onward.

I closed my eyes.

There was one thing I’d dreamed about for ages, that I hadn’t had since I was a little girl.

I remembered what lasagna once tasted like. Lasagna with meat sauce, lots of cheese, and ample pieces of garlic bread. I was so hungry that my stomach growled angrily just at the thought of food.
