I started having fun the moment we arrived in Italy.
We got here two days ahead of schedule to do some sightseeing.
The guys took me everywhere, from the Vatican and Trevi Fountain in Rome to Venice, Verona, and Tuscany.
We finally settled down in Sicily, where I met the rest of Cristiano’s huge, huge, huge family, and it was beautiful. They had a barbeque on the beach and welcomed me with open arms.
It was terrific to meet them all, but just like when I first met his grandparents and mother, guilt and nerves crept in every time people called me Evelina.
After a long day spent with Cristiano’s mother and grandparents, I’m on the beach again with the guys. This time we’re having a bonfire.
They’ve been teaching me Italian while we roast marshmallows under the star-speckled sky.
“I sound terrible.” I giggle. “Like a mule giving birth.”
The guys try not to laugh but fail.
“Baby, learning a new language comes with time.” Cristiano pulls me into his lap and I slip my arm around his neck.
“But I still sound like a mule giving birth.”
“Be that as it may, you sound like a very sexy mule giving birth,” Levi says, raising a finger as if he’s making an important point.
I throw a marshmallow at him and he catches it with his mouth.
Knox laughs, throwing more marshmallows at Levi, which he tries to catch too.
Cristiano shakes his head at them. “You guys never change.”
“There’s no need to.” Levi high-fives Knox.
Cristiano grins and looks at me. “I hope you can get used to this.”
“I already am, and I love it.” I don’t think I’ve ever said anything more truthful.
“Good to hear.” He strokes my cheek. “Goddess, you should go see your friend over the next few days. You’ll feel better for it.”
In the moonlight, his blue eyes capture mine and I nod. I’ve been thinking about Paige even more since we got here. I want to see her. I’m just worried she won’t want to see me.
“I’m gonna see her and hope for the best.”
“If she’s anything like what you’ve told us, I’m sure things will be fine,” Knox says and Levi nods, agreeing.
“I hope so.”
Cristiano presses his cheek to mine and it feels so good. Everything feels amazing and I can’t imagine my life any other way.

I know we have to be careful when we’re together like this, but these are my favorite moments because I’m absolutely head over heels in love with all three of them.
“I think it’s time we play with you.”
“Me too.”
