“Well… I can take you out on the boat. We’ll pack lunch and have a day out on the water. Or we can have a day on the sandy lake. Or we can go kayaking.”

That all sounded nice.

“Whatever you want.”

She looked up at me with a mischievous grin. “Do you know what I want right now?”

I grinned because I knew what the little nympho wanted.

She rubbed her thumb across my beard. “I want to ride your beard again.”

I raised an eyebrow. “I’m not stopping you.”

“While you use your tongue ring.”

I grinned. “Oh, you love that thing, huh?”

“Felix!” she laughed. “It’s like you have a vibrator in your mouth. It feels amazing.”

I turned it on and felt the vibrations in my mouth. “Good thing I packed extra batteries. Get up here and ride my tongue.”

I didn’t have to tell her twice.

A couple of hours and a shower later, Gemma stood in the kitchen, peering into the fridge. I sat on the couch with my sketchbook in hand, working on the logo for her jewelry store. I liked where this was going, but it wasn’t complete. I still needed to transfer it to my computer.

“What’s wrong?” I asked.

“What should we do for dinner?” she asked. “I don’t feel like cooking.”

I didn’t either. I was beat from both our brewery crawl and all the sex we had afterward.

“There’s frozen pizza in the freezer,” I said.

“Let’s go out,” she said.

“We were out all day,” I argued.

“Please, Felix,” she begged.

“You’re such a brat,” I muttered.

She bounded over to the couch and jumped into my arms. She gave me that pouty look I couldn’t say no to. “We can go over to the resort. They have a great bar on the dock. It’s so nice. And I’ve known one of the bartenders since I was a small child.”

She was so cute when she got all excited. “You’re a brat because when you give me that pouty face, I can’t say no.”

“Please! I want some good-ass crab cakes.”

I laughed. “Is that what they’re called?”

She nodded. “Uh-huh.”

I slid her off my lap. “Okay, let me change.”

She was wearing a black dress with bright pink flowers that matched her hair. She looked ready to go, while I was lounging on the couch in a pair of jeans and a ratty t-shirt. She glanced at my sketchbook in between us on the couch. She studied it for a moment. “Is this the logo for me?”

I nodded. “It’s just a sketch. I added the banner for your shop over the crystal. I gotta draw it into my program and colorize it.”

She played with the crystal at her neck. “Can you make it a rose quartz?”
