“Offer?” That sounds ominous. “What kind of offer?”
“Your restaurant exactly where you want it.”

I could tell he expected it though from the smirk on his face. The smirk that fades in an instant when he takes hold of my arm and shoves me up against the glass.

“This is insane,” I shake my head because I can’t believe what I’m hearing.
