Page 7 of Only For Him

“Don’t.”

It was just one word, and she said it in a tone that didn’t convince him she was all that serious.

“Don’t what?” he asked, their mouths just centimeters apart. Their breath mingled, and his heart seemed lodged in his throat. His dick was harder than a steel spike. His entire body vibrated with need for this woman.

Her tongue slipped out over her bottom lip. “Uh…I can’t remember.”

“That’s good,” he said as he bent his head and gave into temptation.

When Vic pressedhis mouth against hers, Addy knew she was a goner. She knew this was a mistake because he was a man who would expect more than a fling. He would want everything from her, things she couldn’t give him, but she couldn’t resist his lure.

She shivered and opened her mouth. Her hunger spiked, pushing her already out-of-control lust into overdrive. The man had no idea how much she wanted—needed—him tonight.

Instead of pushing him away, which she should be doing, she curled her hands into the lapels of his tux. He tilted his head and deepened the kiss, slipping his hand down to her rear end and pressing her forward. Addy shivered again when she felt the hard, full length of his cock against her stomach. He tasted of fine whiskey and lust.

Heat spiraled as her sex grew damp. Desire seemed to pound through her entire body, urging her…forcing her to decide. She needed this more than anything in the world. She needed to feel alive, as if this night was extraordinary. She wanted to create another memory, one that she wanted to cherish.

He pulled back too soon and rested his forehead against hers. They were both breathing as if they had run a marathon.

“I should go.”

He didn’t want to. If she hadn’t heard it in his voice, she could tell from how he pressed against her.

“Don’t.”

His eyes were barely open as he looked down at her. “What did you say?”

She licked her lips, knowing what asking him to stay meant. It was probably a mistake, but she had been fighting her need for him for months. Tonight, she needed him more than she could admit to herself.

“Don’t go. Stay.”

He said nothing for a moment, and Addy was sure he would deny her what she needed. But, in the next instant, he cupped her face and bent his head. If the last kiss had been hot and wet, this one was sweet…and just as desirable.

When he pulled back, he smiled down at her. “I’ll stay. Then you can decide.”

Before she could ask him what he meant about that, he bent down at the waist and picked her up off the ground.

“Which way to the bedroom, Addy?”

He didn’t hurry. Of course, Vic would never rush. He always seemed to take his time about everything. He carried her up the stairs. When they got to her bedroom, she started having second thoughts. Just like she had thought, he would want more than she was willing to give.

“Nope, not going to happen.”

She looked up at him. “What?”

“You’re starting to think.” He stepped into her room and didn’t hesitate. He marched to her bed.

“Someone has to.”

“Naw, thinking’s overrated.”

For a second, she thought he had lost his mind. All Vic ever did was think. It was one of the things her father liked about him.

Before she could respond, Vic tossed her on the bed, and his hands went to his bowtie. He never took his gaze from her as he slipped his fingers through it, then unbuttoned the first few buttons of his shirt. He tossed his jacket on the chair beside her chest of drawers.

“Really? You don’t think we should have some kind of agreement…given your lifestyle?”

He stopped in his approach to the bed and cocked his head. “What do you mean by that?”
