I crossed my legs at the ankles, pondering this. “Get a kick-ass job.”
“In Chicago?”
“It doesn’t really matter. I’m flexible. I wouldn’t mind spending some time elsewhere, widen my horizons a bit. Live a little. I haven’t really done that before now.”
He nodded, frowning while he skimmed his fingers down the side of my body.
I shimmied my hips. “Keep touching me like that and this conversation won’t last too long.”
He didn’t stop but simply leaned in, bringing his mouth to my ear. “Let’s see just how long it can last.”
Hmmm, was that a double entendre?
I shimmied some more, laughing. He kept surprising me tonight, and I couldn’t get enough of it.
