efforts, but she was confused at the motivation behind it, just
as she was confused about why she was even there.

Maybe she was just a nice person who wanted to help
someone out because Cassia reminded her of her younger self.
She’d been given a chance and she wanted to do the same for
someone else. Pay it forward or whatever. Or maybe she was
secretly a deviant who wanted to keep Cassia there for a
month because she was beholden to her and use her for
nefarious sexual purposes.
