He actually cheered. It annoyed her to see her him burst into action, making a phone call to the jet crew while her mother tapped something on her phone.
“Are you sure you want to do this?” Leo asked. His was voice serious, but his eyes were warm.
No pressure. He wanted to be sure this was her decision and let her know he would support her every step of the way.
“Yes, but only because you’ll be with me.”
He leaned in and whispered in her ear, “There is one benefit to going.”
“What’s that?”
“We get to spend the night together at your favorite place in the world.”
He was right. Having Leo to herself, the amazing view, and the privacy were an irresistible combination. “That alone will make this trip worth it.”
