“Shit,” she cried out, her orgasm looming.

He moved like a powerful piston, in and out, but he never took his eyes from her. It was all-consuming. “I never want to stop fucking you.”

His words rushed through her, imagining what it would be like to be claimed by him over and over again. Forever. Another orgasm ripped through, her muscles contracting while unbelievable bliss consumed her.

He pushed a few more times, the powerful muscles of his chest and arms tensing until he stilled with a low groan of satisfaction. His eyes blinked open, and his smile was immediate. He pulled out, and his cock glistened with her wetness. He was semi-hard. He removed the condom.

Cassie took a big stretch. She had never had anything close to this kind of sexual experience with a man who was committed to giving her so much pleasure.

He kissed her with slow deliberation.

Who was this man? He was gorgeous and sexy, without the conceit she would have expected from someone so confident. “I like thinking of you as Eros.”

“I love the name Cassandra, but you will always be my Psyche.”

Cassie traced his beard, her fingers threading between his short whiskers. Holding his gaze, she said, “Tell me your name.”

“Soon.” He took her hand and gave her a soft kiss.

Providing a name wasn’t difficult, so there must be a reason he didn’t want to tell her. A cold realization washed over her. “Are you married? Is that why you won’t tell me?”

He gave her a slow shake of his head. “I’m not married, and I’m not dating anyone. I’m just enjoying being here with you.”

There was only one other logical possibility although she doubted it was true. She pulled away in alarm. “Are you wanted by the police?”

He looked at her with gentle amusement. “No, Cassandra. I’m not wanted by the police, FBI, Interpol, or even the IRS.” He gave her a soft kiss.

She narrowed her eyes at him. “You are not going to distract me. You promised me you’d tell me tonight.”

“The night isn’t over.” He brushed a few strands of hair from her face, whispering, “We’re not going back until the morning.”

Going back.Cassie hated those two words. Going back to what? Uncertainty? Loneliness? She didn’t want to go anywhere.

His eyes filled with concern. “If you don’t want to stay, we’ll head back whenever you want to.”

He must have sensed her mood shift.

“No, I want to stay.” Hell, she’d stop time if it meant she could stay here longer. “There’s no place else I’d rather be than right here with you.”

She was rewarded with his luminous smile. She was sure he didn’t want this night to end either.
