He closed the distance between us and hooked his hand around my neck, bringing my face within inches of his.
“Every word.”
From the moment our lips touched, I wanted more. Our kiss immediately deepened, a ravenous hunger we couldn’t quench. My skin tingled where his thumb stroked my jawline, and I wrapped my arms around him to bring him closer. I knew we only had a few moments to steal before we were caught, but I could have stayed like that forever.
He dragged the hand on my back upward before bringing it around to fully hold my face in his hands. We’d never kissed like this before, breathless and hungry for each other. But real feelings were involved now, deep ones that amplified with every touch of our lips.
“I’m falling in love with you too,” I whispered as we pulled apart, my chest heaving as I tried to catch my breath.
“What do we do now?” He kissed the tip of my nose, and the shiver danced up my spine.
“I don’t know. But if you ever kiss anyone like that other than me, I really might have to kill you.” I grinned.
He reached out and pulled my cap down a bit, misplaced after our brief kiss.
“Trust me, you’ve got nothing to worry about.”
