“How long until they find us here?” Drexel questions.

“I’d say we have at least a week or two,” I tell him. “No one knows about this place except for those of us here.”

“And where exactly is this place?” Deissy questions.

“Ireland.”

“Ireland?” Felix chokes out. “We’re in Ireland? What? How?”

“Magic, Deputy,” Paloma tells him. “Just go with it. Trust me, it’s easier that way.”

Deissy jumps to her feet and rushes toward the window. She peels back the curtain and gapes as she stares out at the rolling green hills of my favorite country in the entire world. If ever I was able to retire, this is where I would come.

A new house. In a country that I love.

Me.

Tarnley.

Delaney.

Rainey.

Cole.

Elijah.

Fearghas.

Eira.

Willa.

Ridley.

Magnolia.

Drexel.

Deissy.

Felix.

Paloma.

Harrie.

Winnie.

Ivan.

Eighteen people against the thousands hunting us.

“If we’re going to beat these bastards, we need to get an army of our own,” Rainey says, breaking the silence. “You said you believed Brad could organize it, right?”

“Yes,” Tarnley replies.
