She pushes me away and sits up. Her brow creased. "How...what do I do to prove you wrong?"

I walk into our bathroom and pull out a couple of tests I sniped out of Wes's desk. She glides by me and grabs them out of my hands. I don't give her any space and she doesn't ask for any. When she's done she washes her hands and we wait. She starts pacing back and forth mumbling to herself.

"I can't believe he would even think I wouldn't be able to tell if I was pregnant or not. I mean it's just the most wonderful thing in the world. I know I wouldn't miss it. I would know." She mentions something about how stupid males are but all I can do is laugh at how damned cute she is. Finally, the alarm goes off on her phone and we both rush to look at the two tests she peed on. Sure enough one says pregnant in the little window and the other one has two pink lines.

"Double confirmed!" I throw my hands up in victory but Ariel is still standing looking at the tests. "Babe, are you alright? You are happy about carrying my child right?"

She looks up with tears just starting to run down her face. "I'm going to be a mom." Her smile might be a little watery but I can see how happy she is in her big smile that lights up her whole face.

"I really didn't know."

"I told you before; I see all of you all the time. There is nothing that I don't pay attention to or take note of. I love you. And I will love you more and more every single day of my life.

She pounces on me and tells me she loves me too as we celebrate the new life growing inside of her.
