“Freaking out,” he admits. “And trying to pretend to everyone else that I’m not, which… Only makes me freak out more.”

I smile, moving closer. “It’s OK. This business is a big deal, and you care about it a lot,” I tell him. “It would be bizarre if you were totally chill about it.Butthat doesn’t mean you channel the nerves into…” I pause, trying to find a tactful approach to tell him to back the hell off before his entire staff has a breakdown. “Can I ask you something?”

He eyes me warily. “Sure…”

“In baseball,” I begin, “Did you like the coaches who obsessed about small details of your batting stance? Or the ones who trusted you to do your thing, with a little guidance?”

Okay, so it’s a leading question. But finally, Austin blinks like he’s registered my words.

The trance is broken. “I’m being a monster.”

He rakes a hand over his head with a groan.

I smile. “Only a little. You’re tightly wound. It’s completely understandable. We just have to channel it better,” I suggest. “What did you do to work out game day nerves?”

Austin thinks for a moment. “Ran it off on the treadmill. Joked around with the guys in the locker room. Maybe listened to some music to get in the zone?”

“We could do the music one,” I offer. “Maybe you have time for a run. Or maybe…”

I get an even better idea.

Turning, I close his office door, then turn the lock. Austin’s office has fancy glass that turns opaque at the flip of a dimmer.

So, I dim it.

“I guess I could go for a run.” Austin murmurs, frowning, “I have to shower before the event anyway. But, I do want to have time to look over my speech again because—”

I reach for his belt buckle, sliding the leather out of its loop.

“I want to get it right,” he continues, still a million miles away.

“Ahem,” I say loudly, now undoing the zipper of his pants. “You must really be distracted right now. Because you’re about to miss out on the good stuff.”

“Oh.” Austin snaps back, eyes widening as I drop to my knees. “Oh.”

“Unless…” I say, looking up coyly. “You want to try another method? Go hunting for soft-looking strawberries?”

“No.” He blurts, eyes flashing with lust. “No. This one seems… Ideal.”

I grip his dick into my hand, teasing him with a one long lick. Maybe I want to play into the fantasy, because I find myself murmuring, “I know we shouldn’t. This is so bad… But you’re so hot in that suit, and sometimes, when I’m in my office, I think…”

“Jesus,” Austin mutters, tangling his fingers in my hair. “What do you think about?”

“Doing this,” I smirk, swirling my tongue around his head. Then I take him deep into my mouth. I’m so turned on that I can’t help but I whimper a little around the length of him.

At first, my goal was to distract him from launch craziness. But now I’m so revved up myself that I want to blow his mind—and possibly my own.

I’ve never done anything like this in a semi-public place before. Hell, I never even had fantasies at SNZ. That place was where sexiness went to die.

But now, I find this little office tryst to be a dizzying turn-on. Austin’s still in his suit jacket above me, so put together. With one hand, I work open my top three buttons, so he has a view of the black lace demi-cup that my breasts nearly spill out of.

“Oh my God,” he groans out, glancing down. He pumps his hips harder, as I take him deeper. “Fuck, you feel so good. That mouth of yours, baby…Goddamn.”

I feel a shiver of power, focusing on the rhythm and my breathing, loving the feel of him on my tongue. I can feel how wet I am, and I’m seconds from reaching one hand into my skirt to touch myself as I hollow out my cheeks, sucking and licking him until Austin pulls me off with a growl.

“Up,” Austin says, hauling me to my feet. “I need…”

It’s clear what he needs, as he’s pushing my skirt up to my waist and tugging down my underwear.Thank God. He grabs a condom from his wallet, rolls it on, and then spins me around so I’m bent over his desk.
