"Hmm?"
"Do you maybe have one tucked away in a dresser drawer or something?"
"Oh. That's a deeply personal question."
"Says the girl sitting half-naked next to her fully naked and erect counterpart."
"Okay. Fine. Yes."
Isaac nodded.
"How…um…?" Isaac spread his hands further and further apart in front of him. She quickly got the idea.
"Why do you need to know that? Are you scared you won't measure up?"
Isaac shrugged. "It might be better if I don't."
Not that she expected him to have a literal dick-measuring contest with an inanimate object but to ignore her playful jab completely caught her completely off guard.
"I don't mean to brag but," he gestured to his groin, "this thing can do some serious damage."
This time, Katie side-eyed him.
"Okay. Slightly bragging but it's true. You don't have to answer. Forget I asked. I'll just be extra gentle."
"Does that mean you still want to do this?" Katie asked.
"Only if you do."
She'd gotten carried away. What would he think it meant allowing him to be her official first? She shouldn't lead him on any more than she already had. Not unless she thought she could make a relationship work with him. Or at least be willing to try. And she just wasn't there yet.
"I don't know. I feel like I killed the mood."
"Shall I bring your attention again to exhibit D?” He put up an open palm gesturing to his erection.
Katie busted. Laughter rolled out from deep in her belly. She loved that he was always such a good sport about her whims. Which only made it harder to refuse him.
"You know what I could really do with?" But she did because it was the right thing to do.
"Hit me with it."
Katie drew an arch in the air. "S'mores."
"What?"
She dropped her hands at her side. "You heard me."
"S'mores need a fire. It's hotter than hell outside."
"You have forks?"
He scrunched his eyebrows together. "Yeah?"
"A lighter?"
If he pushed his eyebrows any closer together he'd have a unibrow. "Yeah?"
"Then you have indoor S'mores."
