“Laney, fuck,” I moan, my brain switching off, my whole body going haywire beneath her as she moves against me, grinding herself against my hand, her arms tight around my neck as we practically devour each other.

“Laney,” I whisper against her skin, pressing a wet kiss to her shoulder before lifting my head.
She looks at me with those huge blue eyes of hers and I swear my fucking heart actually skips a beat inside my chest. I feel like I can truly see her in this moment, see everything she’s thinking, everything she’s feeling and everything she’s trying to hide too.
“God, you’re so fucking beautiful,” I whisper, leaning in to kiss her, terrified that she can see all of those things in my eyes too.
She kisses me back, but it’s slower and deeper this time, her fingers brushing against the back of my neck. I’m still buried inside her, and already all I can think about is doing it again. With my arms around her, I stand, walking us over to the mattress, where I follow her down, running a slow hand over her curves.
“Are you okay?” she asks, her words low, almost nervous.
Smiling, I lean down and kiss her. “Yes,” I whisper against her mouth. “Are you?”
She gives me a little shrug, but she’s smiling as she says, “Yeah, I guess we found something else to do to kill time here.”
I burst out laughing, my head falling against her chest. “Laney, Laney, Laney,” I murmur, nuzzling her breasts. “Are you saying you’re just using me so you don’t get bored out here?”
She doesn’t answer straight away, her silence long enough that I lift my head and meet her gaze. I watch as she swallows hard, licking her bottom lip before she finally says, “No. Are you?”
I run my thumb along the curve of her brow, her bottom lip, before cupping her jaw. “No,” I whisper, my eyes locked with hers. “I want…I want this with you.”
Then before either of us can question it anymore, I press my lips to hers, kissing her deeply as I roll my body onto hers and try to prove to her what I don’t have the words to admit.
“So, this IUD thing,”I start, running my fingers slowly up and down her spine as we lie together on the mattress. “It means you can’t get pregnant, right?”
Delaney bursts out laughing, propping herself up on her elbow as she slaps at my chest. “You’re asking me thisnow?” she says, incredulous.
I lift a shoulder in a shrug, smirking a little. “I mean, it feels like something we should clear up.”
Shaking her head at me, she brushes her hand across my pec, gently pinching my nipple. “Yes, Alex, it means I can’t get pregnant. God, didn’t you ever, I don’t know, take sex ed or ask a girl or—”
“I’ve never been with someone like this,” I say, cutting her off.
Her eyes snap to mine, a surprised look on her face. “Like what exactly?”
I roll my eyes, waving a hand over both of us as if to explain what I mean. “You know, bare, no condom.” Her mouth falls open into a tiny O at my confession and I can’t help but laugh, pinching her ass hard. “What the hell is that look for?”
She snaps her mouth shut, shaking her head even as she tries not to smile.
“Laney,” I threaten, my hand now grabbing her ass hard as I pull her so she’s lying on top of me. “Tell me what that face was for.”
