Huh?

The confusion must have been written all over my face because Austin spoke up. “Bee, if Tyler hadn’t just offered you a position, I would have in my investment firm. You’re smart, funny, and really cool. You could be so much more than an assistant manager of a big box retail spot. So why not take the leap?”

His words hit me hard, and my chest tightened. Holy shit. I’d spent nearly five years as an assistant manager basically being ignored when I did anything other than pass out paychecks.

And yet these guys saw me completely differently. They weren’t just after a wild story to take home and remind each other of as the years passed. They wanted me to stick around.

The question was, what did I want?

“Guys, this is… wow,” I stammered. “I mean, but what about my current job?”

“What about it?” Tyler asked. “Bee, let’s be honest. The company will replace you. There’s no shortage of assistant managers. I think you’d enjoy life on a vineyard.”

“Life on a vineyard,” I mumbled.

An image came to mind of rows of grapes, wine making machinery, rows and rows of bottles… and tasting lots of delicious wine. It sounded idyllic, honestly. Hard work no doubt, and dust on my jeans, but also a life of purpose.

“And what about… the four of us?” I asked, trying to keep the trembling in my voice at bay.

“I say we see what develops organically,” Tyler said.

“Organically, huh?” I asked, grinning. “Like the wine?”

“Of course.”

I laughed, and looked around. I was still in a crappy motel in the middle of fucking nowhere, but I also felt like I was at the beginning of a new life.

“So did you have any organic ideas in mind right now, Tyler?”

In response, he lifted the blanket on the bed, revealing that he was still nude, and that his cock was hard and ready, just as Randy joined us from the next room.

“Look at this girl,” he laughed. “I think I’ve never been so happy to be snowed in somewhere.”

“Ah,” I added, tugging my t-shirt off. “I suppose I can text my family later, explaining that there’s no way I’m going to make the reunion. The roads are too dangerous… and I think we’re going to be far too busy the rest of the weekend anyway.”

“Hey,” Austin added as he started stripping down as well, “this is the perfect way to celebrate the new winery. Tyler, how about the first vintage be named… Bee’s Blend?”

“I like it,” Tyler said, nodding. “I can see it now… notes of honey, just for our Bee.”

Everyone laughed, and we jumped back into bed.

I didn’t know how Bee’s Blend would turn out, but I was confident that among the four of us, we’d come up with something pretty damn tasty.

And sexy.
