He pulled back and looked up at her. “Yeah?”
She ran her fingers through his hair. “Did you say…did you say, two babies?”
He nodded. “There are two babies in there.” He patted her stomach. Twins. Jesus. She looked up at Callum, standing just behind her, then over at Nora and John.
Callum said, “You guys ready for things to get crazy?”
Nora reached up and covered John’s hand with hers, where it rested on her shoulder. “Three grandchildren at once? Yes, we sure are ready for that.”
“This calls for a celebration,” William said. “I’m going to open a bottle of champagne.”
Callum held Leah back once everyone had headed back out to the deck. “Leah, I…”
“I know.” She slipped her arms around his neck, sighing when he pushed her hair back from her face and kissed her tenderly. “If a person could explode with happiness, that would be me right now.”
“Me too. I love you. I love you so much.”
