“If you insist on working, every damn single dad in the school will know that you’re ours. Miss Hampton-Carrington,” Jayce says.

“Carrington-Hampton sounds better, and the students will appreciate the alphabetical order of the names.” Elijah sounds a little too competitive to be taking this lightly.

Why doesn’t it seem premature to let them sort this out? Why is Jayce still carrying me?

Elijah closes and locks my classroom door then returns to us, pinning me between the two of them. Jayce is doing all the work holding me, which gives Elijah the freedom to stroke a hand through my hair while the other teases over my calf.

“Are you okay?” Jayce asks.

“Yeah, sorry. I’m not sure what happened. I’ve been pretty overwhelmed lately. A lot of changes and…anyway, you can set me down.”

“When I set you down, I’m going to be ready to make you mine. Do you understand what that means?” Jayce’s eyes have gone dark again like the night I ran into him.

So many questions had swirled through my mind. Was he mad? Lustful? Confused?

The answer is now clear. That dark, feral, possessive look means sex. Elijah has it too. My insides twirl until I’m almost dizzy again. It’s hard to be inconspicuous about taking deep breaths when you’re clutched between two thick chests.

“What happened here?” Elijah examines the bandage on my finger.

“It’s nothing. Miscued with the stapler.”

Wanting to dismiss his concern and focus on the moment, I try to pull my hand from his grip to motion toward the bulletin board. He doesn’t let go.

“We can’t have you working a dangerous job.”

“It’s not that dangerous.”

“What if it had been someone other than us outside the building?” Elijah does have a point.

“I’ll be more careful. I promise.”

“You won’t have to. We’ll take care of you from here on out.”

Elijah nods toward my cozy reading nook. Jayce carries me over.

“I’m fine really. I don’t need to rest.”

“This isn’t so you can rest. Remember what I said I was going to do when I set you down?” Jayce clarifies.

My breath catches. I hadn’t realized he’d meant right here. Right now.

“We’re giving you a lot more than our last names. That is what you want, isn’t it, Madison? You didn’t parade around in the window just to tease us, did you?” Elijah keeps himself in the mix.

I mentally fumble how to answer, since he asked two contradictory questions. I opt for being very clear, which is far from how my mind feels. “Yes, it’s what I want. And no, not just to tease you.”

“Have you been parading your sweet ass in front of us so we’d be overflowing with cum by the time we finally got to claim you?” Jayce plants a tender kiss on my lips then repositions me. I’m about to be set down, which means my secret is coming to an end.

I nod. Not exactly how I’d expected the parading to work out, but I like that he gave me credit. Which means they probably don’t realize I’m a virgin. Can I keep from messing this up?

Elijah helps steady me on my feet. His lips meet mine as I surrender to the way he claims my mouth. I’m already his. If I’d have known this is what it felt like, I wouldn’t have been willing to wait.

Elijah’s hips press into my front as he leans to kiss me.

Warmth on the back of my thigh stirs me to realize that Jayce is behind me. Fingers tucking into my panties, slowly sliding them down my hips, give me a clue what Jayce is up to, in the tiny fraction of my brain that can still think. His breath turns to kisses, trailing over parts of my body I didn’t know I wanted kissed. He massages my ass with one hand while the other slides between my legs.

Past any point of decency. Past anywhere I’ve been touched. Past the edge of my panties.

There’s no embarrassment anymore. Their confidence makes me trust that my body is doing what it was designed to do. And I hope that ends with making a baby. Is that what they mean by making me theirs? Claiming me? I don’t want to be able to walk away from this.
