“Yes.” I moaned as his finger brushed over the tight rim.

“Good.” He bit my jaw, the slight tinge of pain sending a flush of heat over my skin. “Because we’re about to break the condom, pet.”

Several hours later and Sammy was still inside of me. He had meant what he said when he told me we were going to go all night. He had stamina I never experienced before. We only stopped to have a glass of water and that was it.

“It’s been hours, pet,” Sammy murmured in my ear.

I was on my stomach with him towering over me. I couldn’t even remember how many orgasms he had given me, but I did know that I was tired and hungry. My stomach growled, earning me a deep chuckle.

“We’ll finish and then I’ll feed you.” He kissed my shoulder and made good on his promise. He fucked me fast which resulted in both of us having our releases at the same time. I didn’t even think I had it in me to come again, but I did.

Sammy had also been right. We broke the original condom and never used another one. He promised me he was clean after someone he knew had a scare that forced him to get checked out each month as a precaution.

“I don’t think I’ve ever gone that long before,” I told him as he slid off the bed.

“We were in the woods for about an hour before I brought you back here too,” Sammy reminded me.

I lifted onto my elbows, every muscle in my body protesting at the movements. “I need a shower but I’m tired.”

“Come.” Sammy pulled me off the bed. “I’ll wash you.”

“Wash me?” Was he serious?

“Yes.” He paused. “Why are you looking at me like that?”

Memories I didn’t want to think about tried sneaking their way in, but I stopped them. I had to because in the short time I had known Sammy, I already knew that he was nothing like Aaron.

I went to walk past Sammy when he caught my upper arm.

“Talk to me,” he demanded gently.

We were standing there in the doorway to the bathroom. Naked, covered in the scent and aftermath of the sex we shared. I was sure I had marks on my body from his rough touch and I knew for a fact he had scratches on his back.

“Red.” Sammy released my arm and gave my ass a light swat. It wasn’t hard enough to cause any pain, but it was just firm enough that it got my intention. Which, I was sure, was the point. “I have no intention of hurting you. Should I have manned up and approached you sooner? Maybe. But I also know that you’ve been hurt. By Aaron. Someone else. Several people maybe. I don’t know. You’ll tell me when you’re ready. But hurting you is not my intention. At all.”

“Why didn’t you approach me sooner? There has to be another reason besides you thinking that I was hurt by someone.” I didn’t like the fact that he could read me so well already.

“I wanted you to make the first move. I needed you to be ready because I knew that once I had you, I was never letting you go.”

I laughed lightly.

He raised an eyebrow. “You think I’m kidding?”

“No.” I pulled from his grip and stomped past him. “Maybe? I don’t know, Sammy. I hardly know you and I don’t have a good track record with guys. Especially bikers, so forgive me for being leery of what it is we’re doing.”

“We’re fucking, Red. Do I have feelings for you? Yes, but I’m also confused because I don’t know what those feelings are. So I’d rather us just take it one day at a time.” Sammy came toward me, backing me into the corner of the bathroom. He leaned his hands against the wall on either side of my head, caging me in. “Anything else that happens will be when we’re both ready.”

I had never met someone who was as honest as him. Most, especially the men I had been with, never told me how they felt. But the fact that Sam said he was confused about his feelings for me, proved that not all men were the same.

“Why, Sammy, are you wanting more out of this? Are you wanting to fall in love with me? Get married and have babies with me? Are you going to do all of that and still fuck other women?” I knew it wasn’t fair to accuse him of things he hadn’t done but I blamed Aaron. I blamed him for everything. And what hurt the most was that I couldn’t confront him about it.

“Don’t blame me for shit I haven’t done, Red.” Sammy crouched until we were at eye level. “I haven’t given you any reason not to trust me. Have I?”

My jaw clenched. “No. Not really.”

“Didn’t think so. Now, tell me what your issue is. I don’t expect you to reveal everything but you gotta give me something here, pet.”
