"After the way you were behaving at the bar, I never pegged you for the responsible type," he chuckled as he shook his head. "Why are you so worried about what other people will think? What do you truly think of the situation?" I whimpered as I looked down at my shoes, still ready to leave as soon as he would let me pass.

If I was truly honest with myself, I had always had a bit of a crush on Roger. I had always found him extremely charismatic and the way he was able to convince people to do his bidding in order to make business deals was out of this world. I had a hard time keeping my eyes off him anytime we were at the office, but I knew that I couldn't have him. It was highly inappropriate to be with your boss and it could cause any number of workplace dramas that could lead up to losing my job. The last thing I wanted was to do something that would permanently ruin my chances of getting a good job.

He was staring me down with his arms crossed, a stern look on his face as he did so, and I knew that he wasn't going to let me go that easily. Even though it had most likely been the drinks that had caused me to act the way I had, I couldn't deny the fact that I was glad that I got to be with him. Even if I thought it was a bad idea, I had always wanted to be with him and now that I had the chance to, it made me want to keep going and say forget everybody else, but I knew better.

"I don't want to lose my job," I told him as I finally looked up at him, bracing myself for his reaction. "I don't want this to ruin my chances of getting a good job later down the road if I should ever need a new job, nor do I want to ruin everything and lose this job. I love what I do and I was stupid for making this mistake." He scoffed as he rolled his eyes at me.

"As your boss, I can assure you it's not exactly inappropriate," he reassured me as he carefully approached, his arms reaching out for me as soon as he was close enough. "If you're happy with the relationship, then I'm happy, too, and the last thing I want is to put you in an uncomfortable situation, so I have a proposal for you." I frowned as I stared at him for a moment, a bit confused as to what he was about to do.

"A proposal?" I asked, and he nodded.

"Let me be your Daddy for at least a month," he requested. "It'll give you a chance to be with me and see what life would be like as my Little, and it'll also reassure you that nothing bad is going to happen to you just because you and I started dating. If by the end of the month you don't want to be my Little anymore or you get uncomfortable at work, we can call it off and talk it over before deciding what to do from there. However, if you decide that you want to continue to be my Little afterwards, I wouldn't be opposed to keeping you for the rest of my life. What do you say?"

After thinking that over for a moment, I realized what he was doing and came to the conclusion that there was nothing I could do in order to get out of the situation now but comply with what he said. After all, he was saying that if I decided that I didn't want to after a few days, we could discuss it and call things off. After thinking it over, I finally nodded my head.

"Very well," I decided as I started to smile. "We'll start tomorrow." He laughed as he shook his head.

"We'll start tonight since we're already here," he said as he nodded towards the bed. "Now as your Daddy, I demand that you undress and get back into bed. I'm not through with you yet."

CHAPTER SIX

Roger

I was amazed at how little convincing it took to get Addison to agree to be my Little at least for the month, but what was even more impressive was the fact that she allowed me to have her again after our conversation about the proposal I had for her. I already had a feeling that this was going to last much longer than a month, especially if I played my cards right, but I knew I had to be careful. If I did anything that she wasn't comfortable with, I already knew that she was going to want to get as far away from me as humanly possible, and I would lose my chance forever to be her Daddy.

The following morning, even though neither of us got much sleep the night before, we both got up and I bought us coffee on the way to work. The ride to the office was completely quiet and I was afraid that she was already deciding that she didn't want to be with me anymore, despite the fact that she agreed to be mine for at least a month in order to see what it was like. Even though I had a feeling that it wasn't a good idea to leave her to her thoughts, I knew that it wasn't a good idea to try to pressure her into thinking that this month was going to turn into forever whether she wanted it to or not. So instead, I remained silent as I drove along, letting her have her thoughts to herself.

As soon as we got to the office, she made her way over to her desk in the lobby in order to get to work preparing for the meetings that I had scheduled later that day, and I made my way to the office where I found Jake waiting for me. He was sitting at my desk going through some files that I had left out, and he smiled when he looked up at me, looking bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as ever.

"It's about time you got here," he said with a gentle smile as he rose to his feet to greet me. "I was wondering if you were going to show up at all." I scoffed as I took off my jacket and placed it on the coat rack next to my door.

"What's going on, Jake?" I asked, completely ignoring his statement as I made my way over to my desk. "Normally you're only waiting here for me when we have a very important meeting that you forgot to tell me about first thing in the morning." He laughed as he waved his hand dismissively at me.

"Oh, I wouldn't worry about it too much," he said as he sat down at the desk. "I just wanted to let you know that we got everything sorted out with Tyson. We're back on track and we should be seeing the results within the next quarterly report." Still a bit suspicious, I crossed my arms at him, staring him down skeptically as I did so.

"Is that really all you had to tell me?" I asked as I looked at him up and down. "Normally you'd be telling me this later on in the day or through email. What's going on with you?" Realizing that I had caught him in his lie, he took a deep breath and shook his head.

"Elaine's pregnant," he told me, as a smile spread across his face. "We just found out today." My eyes widened as I stared at him in disbelief.

Elaine and Jake had been together for well over a year now and they had been trying ever since their wedding day to have a baby, but so far they had had no luck. Originally, they thought that it was because Elaine was having issues with her hormones, but they eventually found out that there was a chance that Jake was no longer fertile. They had tried everything, from hormone therapy to considering adoption, but nothing had worked so far, and they were beginning to lose hope that they would ever be able to have a child of their own. However, now that Elaine was pregnant, it appeared that there was still hope for them.

"I can't believe it," I said when I finally found the words to say. "I'm really happy for you. Congratulations! " Jake smiled as he shook his head at me.

"The only other problem is the fact that the doctor said that he recommends that Elaine doesn't work anymore due to how hard it was to get her pregnant," he informed me. "They said that even the smallest thing could cause a miscarriage and, considering all the trouble we went through in order to get her pregnant in the first place, they recommended bed rest so that she'd be able to keep the child." I shrugged my shoulders as I tried to figure out what kind of reaction he was looking for.

"Well, since we're technically her bosses and we have the authority to do so, why don't we give her the time off she needs in order to make it through the pregnancy?" I suggested. "That way, she can go on bed rest the way the doctors want and if she wants to return to work whenever she has the baby, she'll be able to come back to work. If you ask me, we may even be able to give her paid time off if we need to." Jake raised an eyebrow at me as he straightened his stance, looking a bit confused as he did so.

"Are you sure you don't mind?" he asked as he tilted his head to the side at me. "Normally you're against stuff like this." After thinking it over, I shook my head.

"I'm sure," I reassured him with a gentle smile. "After all, she is your wife. What's the harm in allowing her time off so that she can get through this pregnancy that you worked so hard for? The company will be just fine." He heaved a sigh of relief as he placed a hand on my shoulder.

"I owe you big time," he breathed as he smiled. "Why don't I treat you to lunch today? We have a lot more that we need to talk about anyway." Confused, I tilted my head to the side.

"Like what?" I asked, and he chuckled.

"Like why did you show up to work with your new receptionist the way you did?" he told me, and I felt my heart start to sink. "Why don't the three of us have lunch together? I have a feeling that you're going to need my help explaining a few things to her."
