I pouted in my seat but his words intrigued and excited me. No man had talked to me that way. Samuel was the first to talk sexually to me but he was crass and crude. When Grant talked sexy, I felt my panties get wet.

Damn him.

“I hate you. Please take me back so I can get married.” I said the words so half-heartedly, even I couldn’t believe them.

Grant sat in the car seat next to me and burst out laughing. “Oh Princess. I know you don’t hate me.” He reached over and patted my leg. “Don’t worry, we’ll soon be at the cabin and I’ll show you exactly what I’ve been talking about.”

We rode the rest of the way in silence. I’d been trying to remember certain landmarks so I could find my way back if needed, but he wasn’t kidding when he said it was remote. I lost track and frankly; I stopped caring. Grant had no intention of letting me marry Samuel, so I couldn’t wait to see how this played out.

We turned down a gravel road that lead to an even more remote road. The ride was bouncy and I couldn’t believe his Tesla was making it through. We entered a thick forest and Grant turned down a driveway I didn’t even see. He kept driving and eventually we pulled up to a small cabin. He parked the car and came over to help me get out.

Back at the wayside, he’d given me a t-shirt to change into, so at least I wasn’t wearing that stupid wedding dress anymore. I hated it but Samuel picked it out. I don’t know what groom picks out a bride’s dress when they aren’t even supposed to see it until the wedding day, but mine did. That should have been yet another big red flag there.

I didn’t have any clothes on and Grant easily plucked me up into his arms, carrying me to the cabin door. He punched in a code and opened the door. “There will be time for a tour later,” he said. “Right now, bedroom.”

We walked down a short hallway to the bedroom where a large fourposter bed stood in the middle of the room. Grant set me down and walked over to the bed.

“Like it Princess? We’re about to have some fun.”

I clenched my thighs together, knowing exactly what he meant by that. I wasn’t sure I was ready for that.

GRANT

Trinity told me she hated me. That I should let her go back to her fiancé.

But from the arousal I could smell as I stood next to her, I would say she was lying. Her body wanted me. Her nipples were tight peaks beneath her t-shirt and her breath was shallow.

I would bet my life that the stone cold princess wanted me as much as I wanted her.

“Let me go. My father will find you and kill you. Samuel probably has men out already looking for me.”

Trinity tried so hard to be brave, her fists balled at her sides, but I could hear the tremor in her voice. Maybe it was fear but maybe it was desire.

“Trinity, don’t you think when I took you, I knew what I was doing? I’m not a fool.” I walked over to the chair she was sitting in and knelt down in front of her. She still had her hair up in that ridiculous updo for her wedding. Thank god I made her get out of the dress. I planned to burn that thing shortly.

Trinity crossed her arms over her chest, pushing up those tits I could wait to get my hands on. “I think you’re an idiot, Grant, to think you can get away with this.”

I took a deep breath and inhaled her scent. I stood back up and walked over to the bed, taking four scarves out of the drawer.

“Trinity, I assure you, I’m no fool. Your father and Samuel are taken care of and I assure you, they will not be coming for you.”

She opened her pretty mouth to talk and closed it. “Is the Princess speechless for the first time in her life?”

“What did you do to them, Grant?” She flew up off the chair and marched over to me next to the bed.

“Let’s just say I discovered some business dealings of theirs that would ruin them both if news of them leaked out. I’m sorry to say they care more about their careers and reputations than they seem to about you.”

A tear escaped and slid down her cheek. I reached out to swipe it away with my finger. “Don’t cry, Trinity. You didn’t want to marry Samuel anyway. You were in for a life of misery with that guy, trust me.”

“What did you find out?”

I sighed and reached out to guide her to the bed. “Have a seat.” I gently pushed her down until she was sitting.

I sat next to her and scrubbed my face with my hand. When I sent the message revealing what I knew to Samuel and Trinity’s dad, I was giddy, but now I felt terrible. The news would devastate her and despite what she may have thought, I loved her and didn’t want to see her hurt.

“Trinity, they traffic women. Young women. From what I can tell so far, they’re at least eighteen, but that really doesn’t matter in the end. Samuel uses some of them himself, sometimes so hard they don’t survive to be sold elsewhere.”
