He had his tablet in hand and a laptop set up. Normally they'd be in their rooms, but they'd spent a lot holed up in their living quarters and felt the need to stretch their legs.

"But Jaygen, they get to wear wings," Cyrus said.

Foi came up the stairs with their drinks. "Cyrus, you literally have wings. And why am I the errand boy again?" he growled.

Jaygen didn't falter; he reached out for his drink. "Because I said so."

Porter and Cyrus both covered their mouths as they tried to hide their giggling.

"You like it, puppy, don't deny it," Porter said.

Foi rolled his eyes but passed them each a drink. Ozni took his blood tonic and sipped it. The drink instantly warmed its way down his throat and lit a fire in his stomach. He placed it to the side once more and held his sketch pad up. He watched each of them, and still, he was taken back by the fact that they were together.

Each of them was different, and it puzzled him how they could see something besides a monster in him. But Ozni was done battling against them. They were everything and more that he wanted out of life. Pencil to paper, he went about drawing the men that completed him.

There was only the soft instrumental music playing in the background that Arden had on to set the mood in the bar. It changed with every theme and this time it was classical. He watched lovingly as Cyrus and Porter started to dance to a soft waltz that he was particularly fond of; Blue Danube by Johann Strauss II. Somehow, they roped Foi into it and the three of them laughed and joked, their heads thrown back as they laughed and spun. Ozni was content to watch them for all eternity. He even caught Jaygen gazing their way from the corner of his eyes, his lips curved up into a smile.

“They’re beautiful,” Jaygen whispered.

Ozni couldn’t agree more. "Porter," he called.

The human stopped in his tracks and turned his sweet, beautiful gaze on Ozni.

"Yeah?"

How was Ozni so lucky to have been given the chance to feel so much? For the longest time, he thought his cold, dead heart would never beat again. And though it stayed still in his chest, it felt alive. Because of them. He placed his sketchpad to the side and Porter didn't hesitate as he sauntered over to him and sat in his lap.

"Are you okay, Ozni?" Porter asked.

Ozni thought about it and strangely he was. Even after all the bloodshed, he'd kept it together. Years ago or even a few weeks prior, it wouldn't have been possible. Ozni would have lost himself completely, but every single time he'd felt himself losing his grip, the men he called friends and now lovers appeared in his mind and he was able to see clearly once more.

"Yes." Ozni cupped Porter's face. "Thank you."

Porter's eyebrows creased together. "Why are you thanking me Ozni? If anything, I should be the one thanking you." Porter's face moved closer, but he stopped just short of bringing their lips together.

Ozni didn't wait as he moved the remainder of the way and their lips crashed in a heat-induced kiss. A moan slipped free of Porter and Ozni instantly wanted to hear more.

Jaygen kept the other two entertained, giving Ozni and Porter the moment they'd so desperately needed. Ozni would thank the tiger shifter later, but for now, he wanted more of Porter. He needed to get over the last wall and give everything to Porter.

Ozni cupped Porter's ass and pulled him closer until their bodies were flushed together. A surprised gasp left Porter and Ozni took the opportunity for what it was. He dove in, deepening their kiss. He tasted every inch of Porter's mouth. Ozni groaned as he made it past the taste of the drink Porter had been sipping on.This is it, perfection.

Ozni swallowed every sound that tried to escape Porter. As his gums started to tingle, he fought with his predator side. He didn't want to stop tasting the sweet human, the one that he belonged to and that belonged to him in return.

Reluctantly Ozni pulled back and rested their foreheads together. Porter sucked in ragged breaths, his cheeks flush and his lips already swelling from the kiss.

"Wow," Porter whispered.

Ozni smiled at the human and pressed their mouths together again. Porter melted against him. He tilted his head and opened up for Ozni. It took everything in the day walker not to devour Porter that very second. His teeth started to sharpen the more he got excited. Ozni didn't need to eat. He was still full, but the thought of having Porter consumed him and bordered on madness.

"Please don't stop," Porter whined.

How in the world was he supposed to hold strong against that?

But the idea of hurting Porter made knots form in the pit of Ozni's stomach. He stared down at the human, his pupils blown with only a sliver of brown left visible.

"Please," Porter whispered. The words dripped off his tongue like honey. “Don’t stop.”

The thought of blood and, not just any, but Porter's blood had Ozni's cock hardening to the point of pain. He could already taste the delicious floral notes and the heat of the man in his mouth.
