"I-It's not Ozni. It's Porter." When he was greeted with silence, he frowned. "Can you please open the door, Cyrus?"

There was a moment of silence before he replied. "Why?"

Porter bit his bottom lip. "So, I can say I'm sorry for being a massive bitch."

Nothing happened. Swallowing thickly, Porter turned around, a frown on his lips as he began to return to his room when the door opened. Cyrus was draped in a soft pink robe that was slightly open at the chest displaying his creamy skin. In one hand he held a tea cup and saucer daintily as he tilted his head at Porter.

"What do you want?"

Porter offered him a small smile. "Can I come in?"

"Hmm, I don't know darling. Are you going to attack me for being a decent man again?”

Instantly, Porter's cheeks flushed. "I really am sorry, Cyrus. When you said no I just..." He wanted to lie. If he lied, it would be less embarrassing, but he couldn't bring himself to do it. Instead, he averted his gaze to the ground. "I wanted you and I felt like shit when you said no. I felt rejected and I lashed out like a moron." He glanced up at Cyrus. "Really, even if you're a total pervert and you always try to talk me into fucking you, I know you're sweet and you care about me. You're the main one that has put yourself out there to get to know me. And," Porter shrugged and practically whispered, "you get me. A lot. So, I am really, reallysorry for being such a bitch to you. It won't happen again."

Cyrus looked him up and down and Porter saw his shoulders relax a bit. Cyrus glanced around before he pushed his door open more and stepped back.

"Welcome to chateau Cyrus. Do you want some tea?"

Glancing around, Porter stared in awe. Everything was soft colors, accented in rich, deep reds. The rug under his feet was thick and above his head there was a chandelier. Art decorated the walls and calming music played. It felt as if Porter had stepped into the luxury room of a mansion instead of one of the host rooms. When Cyrus asked him about tea again, he snapped out of it.

Porter smiled. "I would love some. Thank you." He walked inside more and deposited Cy's things on the bed. "Where would you like me to put these? Thank you for letting me borrow them by the way."

Cyrus waved a hand. "You can leave them there. I'll put them away later."

Shaking his head, Porter picked a few items up. "No way. I'm going to put them away properly."

Slowly, a smile tugged at Cy's lips. "My, my, has Jaygen gotten into your head?" When Porter blushed, the grin widened. "Or under your skirt?"

"Stop it," Porter mumbled.

"Fine, I won't tease." Cy poured him a cup of tea from his electric kettle. "You may put those away in the closet for now. Everything's a bit of a mess, but I'm glad you enjoyed them. Jaygen and Foi seemed to like them too."

Porter laughed. "Is this you being jealous?"

Cy shrugged. "Perhaps a little."

Surprised that he actually admitted to it, Porter turned to stare at Cyrus. The incubus shrugged once more.

"You're hot. Do you not know that?"

Porter shook his head. "I haven't exactly had that word used to describe me.”

"Really?" Cyrus asked. "Why the hell not?"

"Things were...complicated back home. I didn't get out much." Porter tilted his head at Cyrus. "Can I ask you something?” When Cy nodded, he blew out a quick breath. “Whydidyou stop the other day? It looked like you were enjoying it."

Cyrus glanced away. "There are things about me that I would rather the world not see. It doesn't happen all of the time, but when it does, well..." Cyrus trailed off. "I didn't want to scare you. Or take advantage of you. I came back all full of pheremones and it affected you. I didn't want either of us to do something we would regret."

Porter moved closer to Cyrus as if he was being drawn in by the incubus. There was an undeniable need in Porter that made him want to comfort Cyrus and tell him he’d seen monsters, had been raised by one, and nothing Cyrus showed him would be as terrifying. But none of those words left his lips. The incubus turned around just before Porter could touch him. Cyrus jumped a little before he froze. Porter couldn’t help himself as he reached out and caressed Cyrus’s cheek.

He took in a breath and his tongue finally started to work. "If we're being honest, let me say that I would never regret sleeping with you. I know you wouldn't hurt me."

Cyrus licked his lips, making them shine in the light. "How do you know that?" he whispered.

"Because it's you. I was being a prejudiced asshole and I still have a lot to learn about other species, but you're so gentle with everyone and no one sees it." Porter tilted his head. "I'm starting to trust you. Which is something I never thought I would be able to do with anyone, but my sister."

Cyrus leaned into his touch and Porter's heart raced. He could see the pain that crossed Cy’s face and he already knew from his puffy eyes that he probably hadn't slept much. Porter took his hand, leading him to the huge bed and pushing the curtain aside.
