"What?"

He reached out and grabbed the front of Foi's shirt. "Kiss me and let's stop talking about awful things for now. I want to enjoy myself and forget this ever happened." Porter's heart clenched as he held back tears just thinking about home. Right now, he wanted to drown in these men, to hold them. "Please?" Porter whispered.

Foi leaned down and claimed his lips, making heat sweep through Porter's body. Porter leaned against him, his hands sliding underneath his shirt. His palms ached as he ran them over Foi's furry body and he wanted to drag the man off into a room and feel every inch of him. Foi's mouth was rough and hot, his tongue pushing past the boundary of Porter's lips and taking away any and all thought that wasn't them.

Porter could kiss him forever.

"We should go," Foi whispered against his lips. "Jaygen already has a stick up his ass about Spooky and now we're running late."

Chuckling, Porter went on the tips of his toes, shoved his fingers into the man's hair, and tugged him down roughly. He kissed him slowly, taking his time to enjoy the heat of his lips before he sighed and pulled back.

"I don't know, Puppy. I kind of like it when he takes things out on me."

Foi shook his head. "You are insane."

Porter shrugged and turned on his heels. There was a hop in his step now. He'd gotten to kiss Foi, he was feeling better, and Jaygen would kill him for making him wait. It made all of the bad outside of these walls disappear.

"Has Jaygen always been such a hard ass?" Porter asked.

"Yep." Foi didn't even hesitate. "For as long as I've known him he's been an uptight pain in my ass, but he has his reasons."

Porter tilted his head. "What are his reasons?"

Foi shifted uncomfortably. "That's something you'll have to talk to him about on his own. What little I know about Jaygen? I didn't come by it easily. Arden told me a bit to make us stop fighting as much, but even that Jaygen controlled. He told him how much he could say and that's all I've been allowed to know." He sighed. "I wish that guy would talk to someone. Anyone. He's so wound up he's going to snap someday."

Porter stopped and turned to Foi. "You're worried about him."

"Maybe a little," Foi mumbled. "At least I have the other guys. We've always been close. Jaygen cuts himself off. He puts himself above everything and then he's just...isolated. It's a bullshit way to live."

Reaching out, Porter slid his hand into Foi's. The man's grip loosened and his shoulders fell from around his ears. Porter could see the pain and worry on his face. Even though they fought, Porter could tell they cared about each other. They just needed to get over themselves.

"What took the two of you so long?"

Jaygen stood in front of a door in the basement. Porter snorted as soon as he saw the stern face and crossed arms. Ah, Jaygen. He hoped the man never changed from being the hard-ass that he was. His eyes went to his and Foi's hands and Porter grinned.

"We were a little distracted."

Jaygen growled. "You took a detour, dog?"

"Not that kind of detour, cat," Foi snapped back. "But yeah, we took our time."

"You'll both pay for that."

Jaygen turned on his heels. Behind his back, Porter and Foi exchanged a look and tried to control their grins. Yeah, Jaygen was still scary as hell, but there was so much more beneath the surface. No matter the punishment, he would take care of both of them once he'd had his fill.

Porter practically buzzed with electricity. He walked into the room and was surprised that it wasn't dank, dark, and scary. Instead, there were gray couches lining one wall, a TV, and a huge rug in the middle of the floor. All of the colors were dark, but it felt sophisticated.

He stopped short as his eyes landed on Cyrus and Ozni. The pale incubus and the brown-skinned daywalker clashed in more ways than one, but they looked amazing together. Cy looked small perched on the lap of such a huge man and his eyes were already glazed when he turned and smiled at Porter.

Lust. Cyrus's pheromones were working overtime it seemed, but Porter could understand why. Cy's wrists were cuffed together with leather restraints behind his back and he was stark naked.

"Cyrus, I won't tell you again to put away the pheromones," Jaygen commanded as he walked over and grabbed a handful of the incubus's hair, tugging his head back. "Pull. It. Back."

"Y-yes, Jaygen," Cy whispered, licking his lips. "Sorry, Sir."

"There's a good nymph."

Jaygen's hand drug over Cyrus' cheek and Porter longed for his touch. He wanted to feel those fingers brush against his flesh and tell him that he was good. All too soon, Jaygen looked Portgerā€™s way, his sharp gaze demanding attention.
