Arden took his mouth in a demanding kiss and Micha groaned into it.He could do this for the rest of his life. If only he had forever with Arden.
“Whatever you’re thinking about, forget it,” Arden growled against his mouth.
“It’s hard,” Micha answered honestly.
“Let Daddy take care of you. And then you can focus on your punishment.”
Micha bit his lip but nothing sounded better to him. “Okay, Daddy.”
Arden lifted Micha off his lap and it took him a second to get his legs to work under him.
“Get undressed.” Arden moved toward the door and turned the latch. “No one who works or lives here will bother us, but there are a certain few who will barge in without knocking.”
Micha smiled. “Spooky.”
Arden groaned. “Exactly. That damn familiar will probably pick the lock.”
Although Arden was bitching about Spooky, there was a prominent smile on his face.
“Are we really your mates?” Micha found himself asking.
Arden blew out a breath. “I want to say I don’t know, but then I’d be lying to you.”
Micha’s blood rushed as he waited for Arden to say more.
“We can talk after. Now get undressed, birdie.”
Micha nodded. He could wait; in fact he preferred it. He knew he didn’t deserve to be Arden’s mate, not with all that he’d done.The punishment would have to be enough for him.
His clothes dropped to the floor in a puddle around his feet. Micha was bare and although he’d been naked around Eldon and Gamble and those times had been intense, it was far more so as Arden’s gaze swept over him. It was so different than when he’d gotten undressed and Arden took care of him. It felt more feverish.
“Ar—”
Arden growled at him and Micha moaned in response. “Sorry, Daddy.”
“Good boy,” Arden said
Two simple words and Micha felt lighter instantly.
Arden cupped his face. “Now, it’s time for your punishment. Do you understand?”
“Yes Daddy. I’m ready.” Micha sucked in a breath. “I need it.” The honesty poured out of him, and he was sure if Arden asked, he’d spill everything. But Micha knew the moment he did, Arden wouldn’t want anything to do with him. He still had no idea what to do or if anything he did was wrong or right anymore. His emotions were getting the better of him and even those couldn’t be counted on most days.
Arden stood there and Micha stayed still, making sure to show Arden as much of the truth as he could.
“Okay, lie down.”
Micha turned around and started to lay over the bed on his stomach.
“No, on your back, boy.” Micha froze and glanced over his shoulder at Arden. “Is there something you want to say?”
Wasn’t he going to get a spanking?He’d heard Gamble and Spooky talk about it. Micha chewed his lip before he answered Arden. He more than deserved the pain.
“No, Daddy.”
“Good. Then on your back and grab both legs.”
Micha did as instructed. His hands clutched the back of his thighs and he pulled them up. He felt exposed and the desire to put his legs down made it hard to follow Arden’s commands.
