“I’ve never been with a human before.” Zeno’s voice was gruff and slightly distracted as he continued his perusal of my body.

“I should hope not.” Jealousy flared briefly at the thought of another woman sharing intimacy with him, regardless of whether she had fins or legs.

Leaning forward, he kissed the tip of my nose, a playful gesture that I hadn’t expected from him. “There is no one else on earth for me. You are my bonded, and there is no need for your jealousy.”

“I didn’t think you could read my thoughts?” I was momentarily distracted from my irritation.

“I cannot. Mermaids and merman are empaths. We feel emotions. Many times, we feel the emotions strongly enough to take a good guess at what the person is thinking. However, we do not hear actual words.” He answered me while pulling one of my legs out of the water so he could examine it closer. “You wouldn’t survive two days in the ocean with these skinny limbs.”

“You aren’t wrong. I much prefer my tail to the human form. When I woke from my deep sleep, I was terrified of my own body, but with time I have grown to love it and appreciate the advantages it gives me.” I squirmed as his fingers traced the edge of my foot. My human skin was much more ticklish than my Siren form.

Grabbing his shoulders, I tried to push myself away from his teasing hands. No such luck. One muscular arm wrapped around my waist like a steel band, holding me tight and preventing my escape.

I fought his hold, laughing as he tickled my foot again. As I wiggled, I bumped against his hard bulge, and I froze at the sensations that exploded inside me. I rocked forward slowly, and the feel of my most sensitive skin brushing against his scales nearly caused my eyes to roll back in my head.

“Oh!” The single word came out strangled. Zeno’s eyes sharpened on my face, concern quickly changing to a smoldering heat as he realized the cause of my inability to breathe.

With a devilish smirk, his fingers dug into the soft skin of my hips. “I like how responsive this human body is.” He rolled my hips against him, moving at the pace of a sea slug. I gasped. With an evil chuckle, he repeated the motion a second time and then a third.

Need built inside me, my core demanding release. I tried to rock my hips faster, but he held me firmly, maintaining control. I wanted to scream for him to move faster, but I couldn’t catch my breath to speak.

Over and over, he rocked me against himself, allowing me to feel his own growing need. His pace remained steady, unhurried.

“I need more, Zeno,” I growled.

“You are not in control, my beautiful little fish. I am.” His lips traveled up my throat. I wanted him to move faster, to bury himself inside me, to bite me…

Bite. It was my turn to smirk. If he was going to play dirty, so could I.

Leaning forward, I sank my fangs deep into his neck. I didn’t just give the merman a little venom—oh, no. I let the Siren give him as much as she wanted… which, in hindsight, probably wasn’t the best idea since she had one thing on her mind and knew exactly how to get it.

Zeno groaned, rocking his hips up to grind against mine. The venom was working fast, but still, venom pumped through my fangs and into his veins. I finally took back control, afraid that she would give him a lethal dose. I still wasn’t sure how much venom each of my men could handle.

“Oh, Zosime.” The words were barely intelligible. “I-I can’t control—”

One minute I was grinding against his bulge, and the next, I was impaled on his erection. Tartarus! Where had that come from? He was big, too big for me in this form.

Barely giving me time to adjust, he lifted me off his scorching hot rod and then slammed into me again. I cried out, from pain or pleasure, I couldn’t say. My butt smacked the water, splashing water in an arc around us.

He continued his reckless pace, sliding himself free and then instantly burying himself inside me. Water soaked the stones around the pool, and the walls nearest us dripped water, but Zeno didn’t care. He drove himself into me. I moaned, my release building to a wild crescendo as he rolled his hips, hitting my pleasure center perfectly.

I screamed his name, my body shuddering as wave after wave of intense pleasure flooded my system. The merman bucked his hips twice more and then roared his release. I clung to his shoulders, my body still trembling.

“I love you, my Siren.”

“And I love you, forever and always,” I whispered back.

One minute we were alone, and the next, Lokene had teleported the rest of my mates into the room.

“Was one hour alone with our mate seriously too much to ask?”

All I could do was laugh at his frustration. The Siren was ready for round two, but his annoyance was providing an excellent distraction. Who knew that men were so whiny?

“Hey! Are you two going to say hi? Or just continue to ignore us?” Kye teased us.

“Oh, they will. Fish-boy is just pouting. It seems we interrupted them at an inopportune moment.” Lokene’s chuckles and Zeno’s irritated growl added to my amusement.

I moved so that I sat on the stairs, the water coming up over my breasts to cover me. Muttering under his breath, Zeno kissed me and sank to the bottom of the pool.
